Dec 9 2023 Update: Tomlov Customer service was very helpful. It took a couple of days of messaging back and forth, but Technical Support walked me through re-formatting the Microscope itself and then the SD Card. Now everything functions as it should. Back up and running!Dec 7, 2023 Update: I bought this on June 27, 2023. Now on Dec 7, 2023, the Control Panel and the Remote no longer function and I'm not able to take pictures on the Micro SD Card. I've contacted Tomlov and have yet to get a reply. I'll keep this review updated, but I'm disappointed as I use this microscope weekly and now I'm without one. Hopefully, Tomlov will respond soon. I bought Amazon's extended warranty, but that doesn't kick in until the Tomlov 1-year warranty is over. I'm downgrading the rating to a 2-star until I hear back, then I'll revise it if satisfied.First, in the realm of real coin microscopes, this is on the low end. But, the 24MP resolution is a giant leap up from all the other digital microscopes on the market at this price point or below. Unless your goal is professional closeup pictures of minute details, this will do the job. I only wish it had a USB to Computer output. It has an HDMI to Monitor output. If you want to transfer picture or video files to a computer, the 64GB microSD card can be used for that purpose. It's a bit tedious, but again, it does the job. I would highly recommend that than taking pictures of the microscope's screen. When taking coin pictures, lighting and resolution are the key. There is good control over the ring light brightness and a 3-step switch for control of the flexible arm lights. Magnification with the coin lens is fine. Whole coin images or detail images are easy with a little practice, You have gross adjustment and fine adjustment of magnification, as well as additional digital magnification. There is also gross and fine focus control. After a month of testing this out, I'm quite satisfied with it. If they ever come out with a higher-resolution model, I may get that. But, for a digital microscope with good resolution and lighting, this is the best one out there at this moment.

First off I have had few microscopes both digital and manual, cheap and expensive, this is a professional level scope, the quality is the same as some of the $2,000 to $3000, and you don't get scope eye's, this is an amazing microscope with untouchable customer service (they are glad to help and/ or answer any questions you could possibly have about there microscopes, they will go to the end of the world for you, or whatever is needed to make a happy customer, not saying what or how but they did for me, what most company's wouldn't do or go through). I love it.... Perfect clarity of the monitor, ease of use. Clear understandable english instructions, remote control included, slides and light box. Be gentle and handle it nicely, has 3 different lenses of different powers (in my pictures i only use 1 lens, it has a nice zoom range), (get immersion oil for extreme viewing) you also zoom and focus, (2) incrediblely Brite l.e.d. lights that you can dim and brighten and it comes with a adjustable l.e.d. halo light, i also got the extended arm to reach out over my work area and needed the base for away work/ travel (large sturdy base. Nice), i made waterproof carry case out of pelican box, i took shipping box and inserted it into pelican box, as pictured, extremely protected. Customer service alone deserves 5 stars, all in all this was hands down the best experience of any company on Amazon, i have purchsed from. I would give 6 stars but can only do 5 stars, high quality, beautiful microscope.Get this microscope............ and get the extendable arm, it is worth it's weight in gold!

I bought this scope as a tool to use for insect identification. It does not replace a standard binocular scope, but the high magnification coupled with the flexible LED spotlights allows me to see small structures on the critters that help in getting them to species.Note: a ring light might be a better choice for some uses. The flexible LED spots are good for accenting texture on specimens, but are really intense. They do have a click control for brightness.The manual is helpful for setup (especially if you read it...), but setup is pretty intuitive. Not very detailed guidance on connecting it to a laptop, but once you are familiar with how the camera app on a pc works (Hint: find the icon that switches between cameras!) it snaps in and off you go.There is a memory card in slot on the back of the screen for saving photos and videos, but it's convenient to use a laptop for this. The images are then saved in your photo roll (PC).It would be helpful if there was a measurement tool on it.I've been using this for about a week, and am happy with it. Good tool for a good price.

The TOMLOV DM602 Flex is amazing. From the screen resolution making what you’re looking at crystal clear, to the mobility of the Flexible Arm. This is a VERY well put together product.I am a TikTok’er and I personally search through bank rolls of coins for errors and varieties! So having a scope that is reliable is a must, and TOMLOV proves that time and time again. Now about the scope I love this Flexible Arm design because it has you and me in mind. I don’t have a clutter free desk, my workspace is the exact opposite. So being able to move the scope around where I need it is amazing. TOMLOV certainly created this with the user in mind. I started with the DM9, so this is quite the upgrade. The adjustability options are amazing. You’re given a remote so you never have to press a button on the actual scope. The menu is full of options and I think the modes I find useful are the color options.You can look at images in Black and White, Sepia, and Negative which for looking at coins is HUGE. Seeing a coin in negative brings a whole new prospective to what may have been shadows but now is made clear using the negative. The new ring light with 144 LED’s is.. GREAT! It puts the previous light sources being the 10 LED lights to shame. Also the ease of access with the ring light is great, a smooth knob right on the front vs a small dial on the back of the scope.We have not even covered the best part. This scope has THREE different lenses you can use. Lenses A, L and D. A offers 2x-700x, Lens L is 60x-200x, and the Lens D offers a astounding 1000x-2000x. So literally to infinity and beyond! So no matter what your needs are, whether it’s looking at coins, Soldering boards or looking at specimen slides, you have a lens for any and all of those things.After so many nice and great things to say about this scope there’s always some bad. Which I’m not afraid to talk about! So far working with this scope, I’ve really only had one complaint. Now this complaint could be fixed myself and I can tell you why. This is the Flex Model so it has the Flexible Arm vs the Stand Base. The arm is great, but.. If whatever you’re mounting this Arm to is not sturdy, your image on the screen will always be shakey.But that’s not TOMLOV’s fault, that’s my desk and having it on carpet. So I would suggest if you’re getting the Flex version of this scope you really make sure your desk is as stable as possible. Alternatively I can’t make my desk stable so what I have done is got a side table next to my desk and mounted it there. The side table is never touched so there is no movement coming from it so that solves the problem right away.That’s it, that’s a pretty small “Con’s” section right? Like I said, this is the scope to have and TOMLOV is the brand you should trust. Not only are they constantly striving to make better and better products. They also have the best customer service by ANY company I have shopped through before. The DM602 is still pretty new and they created instructional videos to help me solve some minor problems I was having (Firmware Update). But I had no clue how that was to be done, and within minutes they sent me the file AND a video of how to do it.Don’t be wait. There’s no need to look any further. Thank you TOMLOV for everything and keeping your consumers in mind.

I really like the quality and the resolution of the screen. While using the microscope there was no point where I felt like the screen or picture quality needed to be better. The screen allows you to make adjustments to the picture so that you can get the best view possible with what you are looking at. The remote is also a really nice to have. I found myself using it quite a bit to either capture a photo or to freeze the picture for closer analysis. The images I'm sharing are of some slides that came with the unit and I think they do a good job of showcasing how well it works. The adjustable works well and is very simple to setup. The unit also comes with a light that can be attached near the lens and is very useful when using the microscope for tasks that are hands-on.All in all, I only have good things to say about it. I definitely recommend it!

This is a fantastic product!!!I design and build micro FPV drones for professional use . The process of building is tedious and detailed. Every solder connection must be perfect, components on electronics are SMT and the quality of the build must be exceptional for performance and safety purposes.For years I did this with magnifying glasses / goggles. It was cumbersome switching between glasses and goggles and never felt easy or comfortable.Since purchasing this microscope, the process is so much easier. I can use it to solder delicate wires, check the quality of connections and easily inspect critical electronics.Features that are most useful:The video quality is very high- the optics are clear and it's easy with a one button push to capture still images or video to review later or share. (see the attached video for reference)The arm makes it convenient to move the microscope away from the work area- this is important when I need to assemble mechanical components or have multiple builds on the benchThe ring light is really bright, even if I'm not using the screen, I use it for other types of assembly.In addition, the extra lenses have really high magnification. I have a hot air rework station and have never put it to full use replacing IC's/ parts on PCB's, but having this give me the confidence to take on repairs I would have previously never attempted.Overall, I am impressed. I wish I would have purchased this unit sooner.

Powerful microscope, virtually unlimited range of magnifications, depth of field is good. Mounting is very secure and steady. Easy to use. Has both still and video capabilities with many options. Lighting options are great. Good value.It's a bit cumbersome to set up and take down, so the best option is to have a permanent space to store it fully assembled.
