Levi's Juniors 501 Straight Jean

I got these to be boyfriend jeans so I purposely ordered a size up, boy was I glad!They fit just right at the waist, I usually wear a 25, I am 5'6' and 125 lbs.The legs and thighs are loose like boyfriend jeans but the waist is fitted with a bit of a rise. Not true "high rise" but slightly higher than regular jeans.They look great, I usually wear them with a tight tucked in shirt and boots or heels. Very chic. The cuff is super thick almost like a sailor cuff which I like. You can lower it (which I have, to change the look up) but for me the high cuff looks good.Worked out well but am still looking for another pair of the BF jeans.

I have a waist size 28 and hips 38. The size 26 fit best for me, however I didn't keep it because the style wasn't what I was looking for. I love the 100% cotton, thick denim, but it was too wide in the waist and too narrow in the hips . I was looking for more of a classic fit. The waist was also too low for me- came up way below my belly button. I love the button fly though. 3 stars for the good quality, but bad size and shape

Would have fit just a little better if they would have had a lower rise. But other than that, the fit was great and Amazon was the only place where I could find 100% cotton levis. I hate any kind of spandex use. When I sit down, I want my old body to stay put and not spread out, which is what spandex does.

I usually wear Levi's but after unexpectedly losing 30 pounds, Levi's doesn't seem to make a size 2. And I wonder, why doesn't anybody make actual DENIM jeans for women anymore? Anyway, they fit good in spite of being stretchy material. I guess I can live with it. Miss my Levi's.

Lightweight fabric is what these are. Also, others have written that they run big. I bought 29" waistline and I could have gone at least a size smaller. Will try to shrink them. Hole in knee isn't really a hole, but just a scuff. Wish they had left that out.

Sadly, Levi's isn't consistent in their sizing. It depends on the style of jeans that you're choosing. Some styles runs big, some small & some true to size. This particular 501 style runs a bit on the small size. Order a size larger to ensure a good fit. I love Levi's, but online shopping for a new style isn't practical when sizing isn't accurate.

Just notice that these jeans were mis-marked. Bought them for my daughter and when she got them the tags were correct, but the sizing measures much larger. They don't run true to size.

Love the 501 jeans! Fit great, but fabric is not as durable as the last pair I ordered from Levi's.
