Very thin and light weight . Although it is well ventilated with mesh under the arms almost to elbows and almost to the waist. Despite this, if you sweat a lot, the material clings to your wet skin as it doesn't wick and evaporate as well as other jackets like Marmot's "driclime" . So if you sweat a lot , check out marmot's "Stride" jacket or "wind shirts".

Just a caveat...my review is based on the fact that I ordered this jacket for my son because it was rated as one of the top "winter weather" running jackets in a running article. This jacket is literally paper thin (even thinner than his other fall weather running jackets). Any jacket can be a "winter running" jacket if you wear 4 layers underneath it. It is apparently water and windproof, which is good, but I certainly don't view it as a winter jacket. I have 2 running jackets for cold weather where, due to the design, I only need to wear one layer underneath and I'm good to go in 10 degrees. I wouldn't wear this under 40 degrees. Probably a nice jacket for late fall / early spring (still, with something warm underneath).

Love this jacket, has everything you'd ever want from a light weight running jacket and is super portable and great when it gets a little rainy.

Surprisingly rain resistant and just great for windy & rainy weather. Measure as expected. Very light and easy to carry.
