Hyperflex Wetsuits Men's Flow 5/4/3mm Hooded Front Zip Full Suit

It keeps you TOTALLY warm! i can swim in Puget Sound for 45 minutes in November with this suit, gloves, and boots. But it is definitely a bitch to get into it and out of it. The 1 zipper goes from nipple to nipple, and you have to fit your hips, butt, and shoulders through that tiny birth canal! i wrote to them asking for instructions (they do not come with the suit), but they never bothered to respond to my email. i recommend shampoo with conditioner or talcum powder, though i do not know what these chemicals do to the rubber. They make it easier to slip into & out of the suit. Plan for an extra 10-15 minutes for each operation.

This wetsuit kept me warm and fits great. It was a challenge to put on at first, but once I figured out my process for putting it on, the next times were much quicker. I still need someone to help me take it off, but I'm sure I'll figure out how to get my shoulders out after a few more times.

The suit itself seemed okay at first but when I tried to put my head through the hood, I realized that it was painfully tight. It felt like a size XL suit with a childs size hood. I wanted to loosen the string around the face opening, but it was not long enough. For a while I considered just cutting the string out and threading a longer one in, but the string is sewn into the hem so that won't work. You could just cut the string out and forget it but I surf in cold water and I want all the help I can get in preventing cold water flushing through. I finally decided to send it back and get something that would fit me better. It seemed pretty lame that the string couldn't be 3 inches longer around the hood.

Great for cold water! Very flexible and keeps you very warm in the chilly Northern Cal waters. It is great especially on the days when it's cold and stormy with just the right wind for the perfect wave!!

Great, warm suit. Have been on the Puget Sound in 35 and wind and stayed warm and toasty. Suit is a bit harder to get into than a rear zip, but worth the bit of struggle.
