A OG dev kit is going to be easier.
The product is excellent. I really have no qualms! HOWEVER: This pathin versus the official Jetson Orin Nano Developer kit is going to be harder. When the previous was out of stock, I rolled my own with this board and a som from ARROW. There is no SD card slots on production soms, so you're gonna need to flash with the SDK. The SDK imoho can be very tricky to get running. And no, you can't run it in a VM and no it can't be the latest Ubuntu version, which makes using it all the more hard. That's the latest I found. It was a whole thing. I'm hoping the official version is easier. Flash an sd card from windows and go. There is just some oddity that may already be cleared up around SDK use. The easiest on boarding path is NOT available if you source your own production som and stick it in here. Just a heads up. The official dev kit also includes a wireless module! (not all wireless modules works 100% :/) and a heatsink/fan (also needed). So long story. If you can get an official developer kit. I would. I should have waited for restock. Otherwise, I don't think there is anything wrong with this motherboard. It worked! after quite a bit of fussing and none of it was the boards fault. I see no difference between it and the official.

Works similarly to the original Nvidia Jetson Nano Orin development board.
The only way I found to update the Flash bios on a Jetson Orin Nano was to use Nvidia SDK Manager from a (separate) Linux PC. You have to connect your Linux PC to this board with a USB-C cable. Then start Nvidia SDK Manager on your Linux PC and select to install/update your Jetson Orin Nano (already installed into the development board, of course). You need to insert a NVME hard drive onto this board to install the OS onto (or some other storage device). You also need to (buy separately) install a 'Waveshare AW-CB375NF Dual-Band Wireless NIC' onto the development board (or similar NIC). Without this waveshare board, you need the full Nvidia Jetson Nano Orin development kit - which is kind of expensive when you're forced to buy it from a 3rd-party.

Able To Take Nvidia Developer Module & Install On This Board: MIPI CSI connector On Old Board Broken
I had a damaged MIPI CSI connector at Cam 1 port and decided to try this board. It works perfectly so far and I have both cameras working again. Affordable and good I think!
