Really comfortable and good battery life

I put ark os on mine which I think is way better than the stock operating system. Has played everything up to Dreamcast I've tried very well. If you don't mind tinkering a little look up portmaster. You can play Stardew valley, Celeste and Undertale and more on this device as a bonus. Also recommend putting your own roms on it because that is sketchy them shipping with roms. Also recommend a higher quality micro SD cards then the ones they ship with it. They are probably fine but I got new ones. Battery life roughly 5hrs. I would say I have average hand size and I find this very comfortable even for longer play sessions

Great little handheld

This Anbernic RG353PS handheld gaming console just works. It may not have the best of specs but for a handheld, it works. The included games kept me busy during downtimes and had not issues running all the included games. Unfortunately, the unit is not dual boot but does support two memory cards. Both cards that are included are off the shelf cards and would work but It would best be advised at some point to get better cards of you plan on saving your progress long term. Being wider, it feels better in the hands when playing and give your finger more comfort and less fatigue. The transparency of the unit makes visible the internals of the unit and will be desirable. I didn't not notice the stereo effect of the dual speakers but they are noticibly louder than some others that I have. The screen is clear and responsive with no dead pixels. Overall, it is a handheld that is comfortable and works.

False advertisement.

Console came with 21 games on both products I purchased. That is far from the 4000+ promised with your purchase. Complete BS. Will be returning for a more trustworthy product for my children.

Love it

Overall a great device, can't decide where to start. The screen is great, including the touch sensitivity. Games load great and the state save/load functionality is great. It uses all the mainstream software which it makes it easy use. WiFi, bluetooth, etc. seem to work great. Hours of play that make it great on trips and on flights. Size is good and this layout RG353P makes it easy to hold and play. SD cards are okay, but it is easy to copy the data card and the manufacturer provides firmware updates that are easy to download and install (I upgraded both cards to Samsungs). There are so many features that I have not even explored yet!

Install ArkOS, it's the bee's knee's!!!

ArkOS / Emulation Station with this thing is awesome! Plays more Dreamcast games than not perfectly (my collection, ~80%). Outputs to TV flawlessly. Plays 99% of all N64 games perfectly, 100% PS1, and maybe 80-85% of Saturn games perfectly.Everything else it'll handle without breaking a sweat.Cons? The screen requires heavy calibration, the speakers are weak, and I wish it was bigger in my hands. For the price, I highly recommend this!!!

BUY ONE NOW!!!

Where do I start it’s a retro emulator all the way up to PS1/Dreamcast all in a jumbo SNES style controller... ANBERNIC really knocked it out the park w this one! Not only did it work right out the box with almost zero issues... there’s a whole community online who build custom software and modded games so the bang for buck is really endless w this thing. I’ve played a lot of my favorites at this point and just scroll thru now and try out random games, much to my surprise I enjoy... Cadillac’s and dinosaurs and the metal slug series just to name a few.

Here's what I know after spending 14 hours getting to know this handheld

Whenever I want to play a Genesis game, I put a cartridge in my Genesis and play it. When I want to play a PS1 game, I put a disc in my PS1 and play it. But I wanted to try this type of emulation in a form factor that was easy to hold and bring with me wherever I go. Here are my findings as a newbie to this scene:How does it feel and look?-the form factor feels good in the hands-the "atomic" purple coloring is pure late 90s nostalgia-the button layout feels good, the d-pad is mushy but in a good way (not as a good as a Saturn of Genesis controller, but ok), and though the buttons don't "click" like some higher end controllers they are responsive and feel "good" overall. The analog joysticks work well but feel a little too short for certain systems like the N64 because I'm used to a longer stick-the screen is an excellent 4x3 display, much better than any handheld I've ever had other than the Vita or Switch OLED-the screen protector included is a bit fickle when applying it so take your time or it'll end up unusable like mine-the headphone jack works well with no interference-it's not too difficult to pair Bluetooth controllers (I personally like using a bluetooth Retrobit Genesis controller for all my pre-PS1 era gaming)-the mini-HDMI port on top is a nice bonus to connect to the TV, but I barely tested this function because I'm using this only as a handheld-the wifi abilities are pretty great (just explore and you'll get the hang of it)How well does it play games out of the box?-out of the box, it plays everything you're given on the SD card. PSP and N64 games stutter a bit more than what I was led to believe-once you get used to how RetroArch functions (which is a bit of a learning curve for me) you'll be able to customize buttons, save state shortcuts (a godsend for us adults who don't have hours to finish a classic 8 or 16 bit game), and even setup achievements if you're a fan of that type of thing-the included game selection is good but it's missing some key games that you would associate with a retro emulation hand held-the included SD card is pretty full of games which is a good and bad thing because if you want to add more games, you'll have to delete some of the other games to do it-some of the included games are the japanese copy of the game and not the US copy so you'll want to swap those out when you can (unless you can read japanese)What I suggest:-look at some more reviews online-install Ark OS and get rid of the installed Anbernic OS (this is much more complicated and took me hours to figure out how to take full advantage; there are a few Youtubers who have excellent tutorials like "Joey's retro handhelds" that'll explain it in greater detail than an Amazon review)-find some game roms of other systems and drop them in the SD card so you can play Sega CD, Saturn, and other consoles-if you're going to take advantage of the 512GB limit, you'll need to buy a single 512gb sd card, flash a bootable OS like Ark, and then load the card full of games. I found the 2 sd card method limited the capacity (the 2 card method is what you get out of the box).Cons:-does not have a power brick which you'll need to supply (unacceptable in my opinion for a device that costs over 100 dollars)-the SD card with the games is bloated with extra files that are unusable (like some Gamecube games that this handheld cannot emulate, so it's wasted few gigs)-there is essentially no manual, so be prepared to have to search for a lot of answers online-if you want to take advantage of the 512gb sd card limit, you'll need to to do a lot of work to get there (explained above)Overall, this is a very good intro to emulation handheld, but one that'll take some time to fully take advantage of if you're a newbie like me. If you're looking for something that works right out of the box with what's given, then this works very well for most games (PSP games may stutter a bit). I can recommend this as long as you don't expect it to perform miracles. I'll be using it play all my favorite retro games until I upgrade which I may not do for a long time. Happy gaming!
