Always Schmetz machine needles.
Schmetz machine needles are THE ONLY ones I will use in my vintage Berninas. A Bernina is a precise instrument and Schmetz needles give the best outcomes. Other brands break easily, are inconsistent in quality, etc. Schmetz ALWAYS.
