Owned it for about two years now I've installed 5 to 6 sets of universal joints in front-end four-wheel drive axals ,It has held up good, even on the tougher ones

I hope to not use this tool. However, I do own a 2500 Ram with +100k on the odo. The vehicle has 10 u-joints with 40 bearings. Time will tell if this tool is worth the investment. 11/6/22 It didn't take long for the first u-joint to go bad. It was one of the worst, RH front knuckle. The tool would not move the u-joint without the addition of heat. The tool did work well to center the new u-joint after clip installation. It's a good tool, but you still have to use your mechanics cap.

Worked well on a 2016 Ram 2500 front U joint. Might buy the next size bigger. I was able to make it work though. Actually separated the U joint pretty quickly with a 1/2 inch impact.

I have used my same tiger tool u joint puller for nearly a decade with ZERO issue. The only selling factor this u joint puller had for me was it was high vis green. Thought it could make night calls easier. BROKE first use. Called the manufacturer was on hold for 45 minutes before giving up. Emailed manufacturer several times with no response. If you’re looking for a reliable tool spend the extra $$$, go with the tiger tool.

Worked well with Milwaukee impact driver to remove rear driveshaft effortlessly from M1078 Stewart and Stevenson ex-military truck. Super easy to use. Fit perfectly. Pre-lubricated so screw doesn’t bind or spall.

This is a huge improvement over using a ball joint press to pull u joints. It only covers the removal, you will still have to bang the new joints into place with a hammer. It does a fantastic job at preventing bending in the ears of the drive shafts. For those confused by the small radius on the ends, they fit the inner race of the u joint needle bearing surface for pressing the joint out of the second part of the shaft. It is a weak point for the first step if you aren't careful tho. I used on a 1.053" diameter U-joint off a 1987 Jeep Dana 30.

Great item, removed U joint on a 2001 GMC Yukon. Soaked the U joint with penetrating oil the night before. Used a little bit of heat and then the puller. Worked like a charm, U joint was out in 2min.

This tool worked well. Make sure not to over extend so as not to break the cup and this tool will last forever. Price very well.
