Works great in auto. It is nice to have two hooked up so more than one person can charge.

These are great for my car when I need to charge my phone, the coiled cord keeps it neat and tidy without a long cord hanging down into the floor board. It works great for my phone however, it won't charge my iPad. Not a huge deal since I have an Apple cord in my car also for iPad charging but its just odd that it isn't compatible with both devices.

I always have a charge cable set up for my wife in the car so its ready when she needs it. They end up getting tangled, or call between the seats, or even get pulled out the door and shut. We just went on a multi-week trip and I wanted a better solution. These were perfect. They have a solid connection on both sides, have a good long reach, shrink down well, but aren't really taught constantly trying to pull back. The cables feel well made and stay out of the way until you need them. Excellent purchase.
