Does what is should. Seems like a sturdy product. Used for my acetylene and oxygen tanks.

Be sure you know which end of the supply hose you are going to use them on.
Good fit, precise threads, neat clean construction. No instructions with them, just be sure you read the part about which end of the hose they fit on before buying. Not sure if low cost means low quality, hope I or anyone ever finds out the hard way.

A good compromise.
I was concerned that these might impede flow or cause problems in my system, they make no discernable difference in my system performance when attached at the bottles. I would hesitate to reccomend budget safety products but I can tell you the criteria that I used for selection... among the affordable products I looked for one that had decent ratings and clear english language labels. Hopefully I found an established brand that has something to lose if their product creates a bad reputation.1 month of infrequent use.I prefer the shorter build of some of the nicer brands at double or triple the price.

I'm new to using a oxy/gas torch. I had no problems connecting with no leaks.

Appear to be quality units.
These flashback arrestors appear to be well made and fit perfectly between my gauges and hoses. I have not blown up yet so I would say they are doing their job. If I blow up I will change my rating.
