Picked up this 7 lb desert sand for my plant setup and it did exactly what I needed. The texture is nice and fine, and it works well for top dressing and mixing into soil for better drainage. The bag felt true to weight and wasn’t overloaded with debris like some others I’ve tried. Minimal prep needed, which I appreciated. If you’re using it for plants, it helps keep things looking clean while also improving airflow in the soil. Solid pickup, no complaints.

Used for my plants and for chicken dust baths. Bought 2 bags of sand based on what a Home improvement store worker suggested but both have silica. This is just sand, so functionality is great. Didn’t think I’d need to look for additives in sand. Unloading a picture of my dust baths, which has a little preen as well- mixability is great. It can get pricey compared to buying sand with silica but I value my health a bit. Feels, smells and looks like beach sand-appearance and color. My trees that have sand are blooming, so seems have moisture retention in the right places. Amazon was cheaper than both major home improvement stores

I adore this sand. I use it on top of soil to prevent gnats and other pests. It is clean and filtered and doesn't have large rocks, chunks, or substrate. I have not noticed any pests in it. It is soft and looks clean in my pots.

It's good for my eucalyptus plant I got yesterday. The plant looks healthy. I have to confess I like to water plants. Eucalyptus is not good with over watering. Ty for this sand and at a good price

Pricey but quality item. Sand was clean, dry, dust-free, and fine. Used as soil amendment. One bag was suitable for one medium sized Ixora plant and one small blanket flower plant. Plan accordingly.

I didn't really need to purchase sand My yard has a lot. With that said I did to make a sand potting soil blend that was properly measured out for the cacti plants. good natural color the size was good for the cost. Give a natural drainage capability. its durable and easy to use in plants of projects. multi use product.

I bought this because I love desert plants and terrarium settings. But I hate my postal worker. The sand is very clean, pours well. Only a little dusty. I mean, what more could you ask for when ordering small amounts of sand on the internet? I sometimes carry small handfuls in various pockets cause the sand is very coarse and you never know when or where you might need pocket sand. This is a great variety here if you can source your own.
