It's pretty thick, I mean I think it would be greasy in the hair, but I don't think it would cause a problem. If you are sure it eczema it will help, but it's not lightweight or medicated. You should probably ask a doctor for a recommendation for something specific to scalps. I don't think this will hurt, but I wouldn't recommend using it on the scalp.
