Works great - 2 sides - one for direct skin, and one for over cloth.
Fabulous icepack. It has top and bottom velcro straps to ensure it doesn't move. But the best part is it has a soft side for directly placing on the leg as well as a vinyl side to use over pants to ensure the cold gets through.

Game changer for my athlete with Osgood-Schlatter pain
These ice packs have been a total game-changer for my son, who deals with Osgood-Schlatter from sports. As an active athlete, heโs always pushing hard, and the knee pain can really flare up. These ice packs fit his knees well and provide consistent cold compression that really helps reduce swelling and discomfort after practices and games. I like that theyโre easy to wrap on and stay in place, so he can move around a bit while icing instead of being totally stuck. The material feels comfortable against the skin, and theyโre durable enough to use again and again without falling apart. Overall, these have made recovery days much better and faster for him. If youโre dealing with knee pain or athletic soreness, theyโre worth having on hand.

Good for the size, otherwise a bag of ice may work better.
The straps help hold the ice pack in place and it covers all the needed areas sufficiently. The size of the ice pack also makes it useful for other areas like the back. It is a little difficult to put on with an injured shoulder. I also found that it was heavier than I expected it to be, which could be a concern for an extra sore shoulder. To avoid the strain of a heavier pack, I found that a Ziplock bag with ice and paper towel was lighter, but not as effective in providing complete coverage. The shoulder pack stays cold for about 20 minutes, which is less than the bag of ice.

Great for shoulder post-op
This ice pack is awesome. I recently underwent shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum and ice has been my savior. This pack is perfect for my shoulder as it perfectly covers all areas that need the ice. 10 out of 10. Fits great, stays cold for a while, and it is a gel pack so its flexible

Works well, easy to wear
I found this easy to put on and adjust, it really covers the whole shoulder area and upper arm well. It really helped to reduce my shoulder pain.

Bought for after shoulder surgery
Because it has a sleeve to put arm in, it does not slip around or fall off when wearing. I can wear it around the house no problem.
