A moveable arm!
This was a birthday present for a 4 year old boy. He is pretty rough and likes to throw things about. He often uses toys to hammer down onto other toys or the floor. This has survived lots of knocks and is strong and durable. It looks so realistic and is a well made gift. The best bit about this particular animal is that the arm moves up and down. This was a nice surprise for my son when he was playing with it… at first I thought it was broken, but it was just the connection at the arm. I always buy Schleich animals because, though they are a little pricier they are definitely worth the money and last a long long time.

This has so far been a good quality buy. The figure is well made, detailed and painted like most other Schleich figures. This one has a moving arm and my son so far hasn't ripped it off or damaged it. So far so good

Perfect size
My partner wanted an orangutan shaped birthday cake so close enough 😂 It is the perfect size, and had to utilise the moving arm with a candle! Its good quality and didn’t break when my young nephew had ahold of it!!

Doubles up as a fab cake topper!!
Good quality Orangutan, perfect size for my cake topper. Wouldn't expect anything less from Schleich. Arm is movable.

I bought several Schleich animals for my girls’ first birthday party. Someone did a review showing the difference in detail between a Schleich animal and a cheaper option and there was no comparison- Schleich is waaay better quality. I intended for the animals to just be party decor, but I am saving these for when the girls are older and can play with them. My dad (who’s in his 60s) thought these were amazing and was super interested in them. He wanted to get some for himself! I suspect we will be adding many more to our collection (and getting granddaddy some too) in the future. :)
