Priced like a generic alternative but performs like expensive brands
This was my first personal experience with any Amazon Basics branded product and I have been beyond satisfied, I've been legitimately surprised at how well this flea treatment has worked. Nearly every review of an Amazon Basics product I've seen or read has been overwhelminly positive so I had high hopes before it even arrived. There is essentially zero difference in the efficacy & duration of action between the expensive comparable name brands and this. The box says to compare it to the Advantage II equivalent, which I have experience with. While the ingredients and all seem identical and likely are identical, it genuinely seemed to me that not only did this brand work just as well and as fast as Advantage II, it seemed to last slightly longer (I doubt there was a noteable difference if there was a difference at all). Bottom line is that you are essentially getting the most respected, best performing, highest quality topical flea treatment for cats on the market for half the price. If you liked Advantage II & it worked well for you, I couldn't recommend the Amazon Basics equivalent more. It's like you're paying double the price to get the same actual product in an expensive brand's packaging. Most topical flea treatments that I've used in the past have been fairly easy to apply and this product was no different. In fact, because of how the application nozzle was shaped, this product was slightly easier to apply than most. The nozzle is designed in a way that makes it effortless to easily & quickly move thru the fur without snagging, allowing you to quickly apply it directly to the skin. Application is so quick and easy that it takes literal seconds and can be completed before your cat has a chance to realize something is going on. It doesn't take much time at all before it is very clearly working. In under an hour, fleas will quickly begin dropping dead. This product doesn't gradually eliminate fleas, it eradicates them with a vengeance and aggression. Once it begins working, a layer of dead fleas will be left behind any place your cat stays for more than a short moment. The efficacy is legitimately impressive. Surprisingly, for a product that works so strongly in such a short amount of time, I have noticed my cats experiencing exactly zero instances of negative issues such as irritated skin (even exactly where it was applied). The easy application process and the effective yet gentle medications used make for a product that does exactly what it claims to do without seeming to cause any physically or mental discomfort for cats. I have 4 cats all with varying fur types, lengths, thickness, etc. This product seems to work equally well and for just as long on all 4 so it appears that if applied correctly, the fur type doesn't have much, if any, impact on product performance.

Flea Annihilator!!! No Rx required.
The fleas came back with a vengeance this spring/early summer. My Toothless (he looks like Toothless from a movie about dragons), has scratched himself so much that he had lost 1/2 of his fur and had boo boos all over. This came to my house in one day. THIS WORKS! Toofy's skin still has some healing to do but he does not have fleas on his body period. Less than 24 hours after applying the fleas were not on him. I am so glad I bought this. I love my fur baby and he already feels much better. No Rx needed. Toothless has not experienced skin irritation where the product was applied unlike some other products I have used in the past. Affordable, easy to apply and it has been a great step in my home's flea fight (fleas are notorious and it is always a fight!). Great product!

works like the prescription topicals, best bang for the buck
just over a week ago we used this on our cats. this stuff works on fleas really good. (fleas was the problem we were having.) put it on the cats and 2 hours later, we found dead and dying fleas on the one cat's blanket. we also noticed that the cats are not constantly scratching either when my wife washed the cats' bedding, she found dead and dying fleas in the bottom of the washer. i highly recommend getting an all natural laundry detergent or additive that kills fleas (we did). we also got some all natural spray to treat the carpets. while the fleas are not on the cats, they are still around (have not starved to death yet). we kept the cats out of the areas we treated for at least 12 hours. we kept the cats separated for 24 hours as per the directions. i was unaware this is recommended with most topicals (including the prescription ones. the craziest part is our cats do not go outside. having multiple cats, this is the best bang for the buck.

Works for monthly maintenance not an infestation…
When I initially bought this product, I was dealing with an infestation. It was not strong enough to kill the amount of fleas - I have five cats. I had to use a stronger/name brand product instead. This was while I was also treating my house. BUT this product works great for monthly maintenance or getting rid of minimal amount of fleas. If you have an infestation, I recommend using something stronger. If you are using for monthly maintenance, I think it will work great. Two of my cats did have a skin reaction the first time I used the flea treatment on them, but they no longer have any skin reaction after the second application. Maybe we received a bad batch the first time? Another reason I like this product is the fact that I can use the ends of the packaging to separate the fur for easy skin access.

DO NOT BUY - POISONED MY CATS
I do not recommend the Amazon Basics Flea Treatment for large cats based on my experience. After applying the product exactly as directed, my cat began showing significant and alarming adverse reactions. More concerning, my cat developed tremors, twitching, and loss of coordination, which was extremely distressing and required close monitoring. Due to the severity of the reaction, I had to take my cat to the veterinarian. After examining the affected area, the vet shaved my cat’s back and discovered blisters consistent with chemical burns. These injuries are still in the process of healing, which has been difficult to manage and very upsetting. In addition to the physical symptoms, there were noticeable behavioral changes, including lethargy, reduced appetite, and sensitivity to touch. These reactions went far beyond mild irritation and raised serious concerns about the safety of this product. As a direct result of using this treatment, I incurred over $500 in veterinary bills. To make matters worse, when requesting a refund, the company charged a $4.45 refund processing fee, which was incredibly frustrating given the circumstances. Despite following all instructions, the product was also ineffective in eliminating or preventing fleas. The issue persisted days after application, making the risks completely unacceptable given the lack of results. After researching further, I found numerous reviews from other pet owners reporting similar experiences, including tremors, twitching, and neurological symptoms. The consistency of these reports is extremely concerning. Based on both my experience and the volume of similar feedback, I would strongly caution others against using this product. I highly recommend consulting a veterinarian and choosing a more trusted, reliable alternative.

Works just like the expensive brands
⭐️ Don’t sleep on this—budget flea treatment that actually works I didn’t expect much from Amazon Basics… but this flea topical surprised me. It works really well — honestly on par with Revolution Plus in my experience. Perfect for multi-cat households or if you just don’t want to spend a fortune on flea meds. My indoor cats still occasionally manage to pick something up, and this keeps it maintained without stress. I noticed that it’s effective all month long, isn’t greasy, and even dries super fast. I haven’t noticed a flea on any of my cats since I started using it. Affordable, effective, and I’ll 100% keep this in rotation.

Immediate relief but not long lasting
I purchased this last summer for my 5 fat cats in the middle of a severe flea infestation. The fleas were killed almost instantly, within 24 hrs the flea population was iradicated. Much to my dismay within 2 weeks the fleas had returned and the cats were miserable again and had to be retreated for fleas. Works well but doesn't last.

Been using it for years and LOVE the Amazon brand! and make sure to use as directed!
Love this stuff been using it for years with no problems! Use it regularly and you'll have no fleas/eggs! It's safe for my boys (they thankfully don't have any allergies). It's very affordable and its a slow release so it makes sure to get everything over time. Again make sure you are using it regularly to make sure you don't get any new fleas ontop of the ones you're trying to get rid of! Yes it's slow release but you have to use it as directed for optimal results!! It doesn't have a strong or offensive odor and it dries pretty quickly (4/6hrs usually) but best to leave the fur babies alone for 24hrs to make sure all of it stays on.
