These beans have to soak I usually soak overnight in cold water I put them in my slow cooker for a few hours, depending on how you like them, the color, texture and season to taste will have you wanting more. Excellent price, stock up while you can. Prices change every day

I love trying different recipes these worked great with a recipe I tried blackeye peas and rice Cajun recipe so it was spicey but good

Pretty good, some peas not great and got tossed
All in all, very good. A couple dozen peas were near black, easily noticed during first rinse, and got tossed. Maybe I'm being too picky but I was not going to mess with those. The rest cooked up fine, tasted great, and went perfectly with chunks of ham and onion, salt and pepper. Delicious and good value for money! Will buy again.
