does it have the life time warranty?

I have had one of these knives before over forty years ago and it is hiding in the house somewhere (I hope). You need to look after them and clean them after any mucky work. Use them as instructed otherwise you could damage them. They are not actually like the tools that you think they are but very useful pieces of kit that do a good job in an emergency or just sharpening a pencil. Get a decent holder for it one that can fit on a belt or in your pocker so iot is protected. A very small drop of light oil now and then will keep it going year after year. Hope that answers you question, it is how it is used that gives you longevity of life.

Just received my new swiss champ and it is oiled. is that normal for a new sak, or it means it was a return that they oiled up?
