Nice drive. Quick. Quiet. Worked well in budget laptops. Purchased two. For two laptops ten years old. Put life back into them. So far very pleased. Easy to work with. Fit and fish was very nice. Packaging was easy to open. Instructions not so easy to read. Luckily common sense takes over , you won't need them. Compatibility, if the sata cable fit and the computer red it your golden. Transfer was really quick. It was a 500 gb. It what I worked with, it came with other sizes in storage capacity. I purchased the 2.5" perfect fit for my laptop. Speed was good onto the solid state drive. Overall I am like the Fikwot drive.

One of my previous purchases on Amazon, was an ASUS NUC14Pro "desktop". Shipping with 1 TB SSD M2 2280 installed with Win11Pro, I wanted to quickly add a 2TB SSD. There were two slots for more storage, one SATA and another for SSD M2 2242. Admittedly, I took the less expensive route and bought this SATA SSD on sale. It arrived, I opened the computer's tool free case and slid the drive in the appropriate spot and secured it with the provided screws. It was terribly uneventful. It works, performance is great. I had never heard of the drive's manufacturer, but the build quality was beyond reproach. It works as described, was a good price and works and works and works so well you forget you installed it. Just like storage should behave. Reccommended highly!

I turned this into an external SSD for my Raspberry Pi streaming server. It's been a dependable drive. Fast loading of my movies. With 2 terabytes of storage, you can put over 800 movies and shows on it.

Will work as a SSD External Storage Drive. Just need to purchase a cable to fit the drive with a usb a end. When you plug it in you will probably need to go into drive settings and enable the drive to make it work, at least in Windows 11. It works fine for my external drive file saving purposes.

As soon as this 1 TN SSD disk came in the mail, I began recording to it. Well, partially through pasting a 60 GB file from my PC to this new disk, it failed. I tried again, but with a different file... That failed as well. So, I did what most would do in this case.. I returned it. I used the money I paid for this disk to buy a "Crucial 1 TB SSD". It was only then that I learned that the first hadn't failed-- it was my "SSD Docking Station" that failed. So, this disk was probably good. Sorry. (but I had to tell the truth.)

Great price for a 1TB SSD!! I used this for my first gaming PC and its awesome backup storage unit.

This drive has been a total nightmare. It should have been a simple plug'n'play but it's not. I have a 2 SATA to USB 3 cords, and it doesn't work with either. The cords are fine and work with a mini drive. The instructions and QR are wrong, sending you to a non-existent site. The printed instructions say it will give you detailed install instructions, but once you find the site (Fikwot.net, not Fikwot.com that the manual and QR code has) there are NO install instructions, and, unusually, NO SUPPORT OPTION!! I installed it directly in a Win7 machine (website says it's compatible with Win 7) using direct power and eSATA cables, reset the BIOS, and it's seeing the drive, but cannot seem to install the necessary driver for it. Naturally, (see above) there's NO option to download drivers! I have already sent one drive back as faulty and I expect I'll be sending this one back for a refund and just buy another brand. I wish there were ZERO stars for ease of install. I've been building my own and family's computers going back to 1985 so I think I have a clue.

I wasn’t familiar with the Fikwot brand before purchasing this SSD, but after using the FS810 1TB for a few months, I’m honestly impressed. For the price, this drive delivers excellent performance and reliable speeds that make it a great choice for upgrading older desktops or laptops. Installation was quick and easy—standard 2.5” SATA interface, recognized instantly by Windows, and cloned my old drive without any hiccups. Boot times and app loading speeds saw a noticeable improvement right away. CrystalDiskMark showed read speeds right around the advertised 550–560MB/s, which is fantastic for a SATA III SSD in this price range. It uses 3D NAND TLC, which gives me more confidence in long-term durability compared to QLC drives in the same price bracket. It’s not NVMe fast, of course, but as a reliable SATA upgrade or even for secondary storage, it really shines. I’ve used it for both light gaming and work tasks, and so far it’s been cool, and stable with no slowdowns or errors. If you’re looking for a cost-effective SSD with solid specs and real-world performance, this is an easy recommendation.

I used this for a fresh install of windows 10. Speed of install seemed on a par with other SanDisk and Kingston I have used. Speed and performance of computer greatly improved over hdd, can't say I notice much difference from other ssds mentioned already, time will tell but so far quite happy
