Very good quality, sturdy and does what it says on the tin, looks nice as well. The size is perfect for everyday use while being lightweight compared to some others. The downside is you don't get insulation to keep water cool but I knew this when purchasing it and decided the lightweight element made that worthwhile. It is easy to open, use and seals well with no leakage. I like the small opening for drinking from, the only occasional downside is when it is full, if you tip it too far back to drink from it, some water comes out of the small air hole above the mouthpiece, but this is just something to be mindful of to not tip it too much. Have used for over a year now and the colour has not faded at all. The handle on the lid is an added benefit for easy carrying. No loud noises when you drink from it or open it so good for all settings.

Great bottles. Lasts many years.

I bought this for the gym. I do a lot of running on a treadmill and it's perfect for putting in that gap they specially have for drinks bottles. I bought the grey 750 ml version as I do a lot of running so I need a lot of hydration This isn't cheap and I think it's because the contraption at the top is quite complicated. You twist the whole thing off to add water or your choice of liquid in the bottle. It can deal with hot or cold liquids. When you go to drink from it you easily flip the button and the lid pops open. There is no twist you tip it up and then take your drink. There is a little hole to allow the air to escape. The thing is when running you sometimes you get liquid coming out of this hole. It's not too inconvenient as not too much comes out but it takes a bit of practise to get used to. The bottle is easy to clean as the lid twists off. I can imagine this would be very useful for school children to take some water to school and would save on buying water which can get expensive. I like the strap that comes with it. I also like that it's BPA free so you can reuse it with the knowledge that no harmful residue will come off the plastic All in all it's a good product, I've bought one for my mum who equally loves it. You pay a bit more but I think it's worth it and would recommend it to others, 5 stars.

Lovely bottle. Good size. Doesn't leak. Little concerned that the plastic clip area may become brittle over time otherwise it would have been a 5 but I will review again in a few months.

Brillant bottle perfect when your out

I have bought several of these bottles on the recommendation of family members who told me this was the only bottle they had found that doesn’t leak. So I was a bit disappointed when one of my lids started to drip. I found a link on Amazon to the company’s help page & contact centre. There I found that a tiny seal on my lid was missing. I sent a message. The next day I got a delightful reply with the promise of a free replacement seal which arrived a couple of days later. Also included in the email reply were links to care of the bottle & where to find replacement seals in the future. I have looked these up & they are very reasonably priced. Unlike some other companies there was no request to write a positive review, I am doing this as I rely on other reviewers to make decisions about buying products.

Avoid Light Purple, as both the original and replacement were missing their secondary safety lock catch (and I think someone else alluded to this in a 'lilac' review which I think would be the same colour) so I'm guessing an unaddressed production line fault and/or stock of bottles being sold that should have been recalled but the Aqua and Yellow ones I have are great... I really like this style of cycling bottle that keeps the dirt away from the nozzle-with traditional bottles I find the nozzle gets covered with dirt/splattered flies, even on roads/cycle paths. These fully cover the nozzle, and are easy to drink from. As, unlike my experiences with traditional bottles, they also don't leak I also use them as my regular water bottle. The lid includes a hinged loop that could be used to hang the bottle from a carribiner etc. so they adapt nicely to the activity. The secondary hinged catch is reassuring when putting in a bag, as there's a possibility the regular one, which is a handy quick-release for the lid, could be triggered otherwise so I feel confident when using this. I've found it completely leak proof, with the note that I always make sure the seal, lid and bottle threads are completely dry (as I do with any kind of liquid container that won't be stored upright/is tilted to drink or pour from).

The bottle itself is perfect, dishwasher safe (many claim they are and then shrink even when on top rack). HOWEVER, the locking catch is useless, I've had 4 of these bottle for myself and the kids and EVERY SINGLE ONE has failed with broken catches within weeks. The plastic around the hinge point is not thick enough and they fracture at the thinnest point. I've tried contacting ion8 through their website, and by direct email, they have ignored all my attempts. AVOID these bottles, the previous version (classic) appears to have a different latch without the locking tab, MAYBE this may perform better but I have not tried so cannot confirm.

Cette gourde est parfaite. Son capuchon permet de la fermer hermétiquement, donc pas de crasses sur le goulot en roulant. Le capuchon en plus s’ouvre très facilement même en roulant. La matière de la gourde est agréable, c’est un bel objet. Comme on le voit sur la photo, j’en ai pris deux, assorties à mon vélo. Très content !

I drink a ton of water every day (I’m definitely not someone who needs to be reminded to drink water) and I’ve been searching for a good water bottle for a while so I can finally stop using plastic. I’ve tried multiple straw water bottles before finally realizing I don’t like drinking from a straw and I tried a twist top bottle that was pretty heavy so I didn’t like carrying it around. This water bottle is PERFECT. It’s lightweight, pours out instead of sucking through a straw, spill proof and you can lock the lid so you don’t accidentally open it. My only possible complaint is that after a month of daily use, the lid doesn’t easily flip open anymore, I have to pull it up, but otherwise it’s great.

Consegna ok, bel colore e materiale. La uso ogni giorno in palestra. Occhio che va pulita bene a mano.
