Excellent size and nice and sturdy
Excellent size and nice and sturdy. I use it to make soups as well as sauces. Would buy again. The handle does heat up if using for a long time!

Stunning quality, unusual shape and size
This pot's first two outings on our gas hob were a bit of a disaster - in each case we absent-mindedly left it cooking away while we were occupied elsewhere in the house. Upon returning to the pan, with the smell of burning food in the air it was obvious we'd baked our food in there. Had it been a non-stick surface this would have been our first experience of slightly scraping the surface away as we cleaned it with a stainless steel pan cleaner, but in the case of this Fissler milk pot it was just a case of cleaning it, and it was back in action, good as new. This is why I've come to distrust non-stick coatings, I'm sure you end up ingesting them over the life of the pan, and who knows whether that's good for you? I'm pretty sure it isn't!This is an oddly shaped pan, with a diameter of 16cm, and an internal height of 13.5cm it feels weirdly deep, and not very wide. I wonder if this is intended to heat fluids in the most energy efficient way? Who knows. In my case I'm not using it to heat milk, but to cook things like pasta in boiling water. It holds a helpful quantity of pasta if you're cooking for two people, probably more. The stainless steel construction really is nice. Shiny on the handle, which seems quite good at stopping the transmission of heat from the pot, shiny around the curved rim, which I'm guessing is shaped like this to minimize the mess caused by boiling-over milk, and the rest of the pot is the kind of brushed stainless steel finish you'd expect. On the bottom of the pot is an attractive embossed pattern which I'm guessing is something to do with its compatibility with induction hobs - not necessary for us as we use gas - but it's a weighty lump of steel at the bottom of the pot which means it heats evenly. There's also a small Fissler logo brushed tastefully into the side of the pot. Can you tell that I like it?The only downside to this pot is that it doesn't come with a lid. That would have been so helpful, as it makes cooking more energy efficient. Luckily I can use a lid from one of my other saucepans, so it's not the end of the world, just a pity.

Fantastic, commercial / professional kitchen item
Wow! This milk pot is amazing, the quality is undeniable. It weighs just over a kilo before any milk is put into it. I would think as long as you didn’t run over it with a heavy goods vehicle or armoured tank, you could use it every day and pass it down to your children looking as good as new. They could use it every day and pass it onto your grandchildren looking as good as new. Your grandchildren could use it every day and pass it onto your great grandchildren... well, I’m sure you get the point.I’m happy to recommend this pot but it really isn’t a domestic milk pot. It should be in a commercial kitchen where it would get the professional use it deserves and where the price would be justified.

Quality
This pan just oozes quality.Superbly crafted, it has a reassuring heftiness to it.Built to last.Larger than most milk pans I have had before, it could easily be used as a normal pan.Handle does get a little warm and for those of us with larger hands there is a serious risk of knuckles touching the sides of the pan when picking it up.

Disappointed
Not happy with the purchase as two months past and already discoloured.
