Absolutely amazing quality, perhaps I am somewhat bias towards this series but when it came I was astounded by the shear quality and value of the book its self not to mention the free book mark that in itself was of fairly good quality and had printed on it a very intriguing quote. I would recommend this buying with all my heart and sole and if I would have to say my favourite purchase as of so far it would be this. As for the story it is very much true to the masterpiece that is the original animated series, one last thing to mention is that the art for the time of its release absolutely blew me away.

For who likes Evangelion, this is a must-have. The drawings are cool and the manga is well written. The story is a little different from the anime which I like because you get some surprises. It's in the original manga version, from right to left which is awesome. Nice artwork and enterviews. I really don't care about that but I think that is a nice touch. It has the original jap symbols translated at the end of the book but some pages haven't got page number which sometimes makes them hard to find. (After reading this version after the first one I reviewed it the same way. Can't wait to read the others.)

This second book in the Evangelion omnibus contains books 4, 5, and six of the manga series. For any Neon Genesis Evangelion anime fan, it is a fun read. From the novel back-to-front read, to the Japanese “sound effects” (there is a glossary for what the sounds mean, if you are that interested!), to the pages of commentary from those who were involved with the television production, this is a necessary companion for anyone wanting to get more out of the Evangelion world. There is a lot that is familiar, but a lot of great additional character development and plots that are not part of the original anime series. I have blasted through both the first and second omnibus books, but am trying to pace my way through because I want to savor it. Most of the content is in black-and-white with some limited full-color pages at book transitions. The books itself has a high-quality cover that will put up with multiple-reads, as I am sure I will put it through!

One of the standout features of these books is the inclusion of three volumes in one, allowing readers to experience a significant portion of the narrative in a single sitting. This not only enhances the overall flow of the story but also intensifies the emotional impact of key moments. The pacing remains impeccable, ensuring that readers are constantly on the edge of their seats, eager to uncover the mysteries that surround NERV, the Angels, and the Evas.
