Disappointing...
We were so excited to get this "forever" chess set for our son. We took great pains to order one that would last... metal pieces, quality construction.Very disappointed ;( The pieces are not metal but plastic and you can see the seams. The "marble" is not even painted but a paper like product applied to the pieces. For almost $250 I expected a much higher quality chess set. This will be going back and we will be resuming our search for an heirloom set that will last for decades.
