Do not use this as a way of determining chip quality or performance. There are several easy ways to test the true amp draw of these chips using a battery and a multimeter, you can contact us for more detailed help. Many 12706 and 12715's on the market are under-powered because the thermoelectic material is very expensive and it's a fast way to reduce chip cost, is to use less thermoelectric material. Only by testing can you be sure of what you are getting.
