Has some oddities you have to overcome, like if you want to use only seconds, like melting butter, you have to hit Cook Time and then number of seconds and with some settings you have to hit Stop twice. If you just hit the One (number) it takes off for one minute without hitting Start. So you need to read the manual and I know a lot of people don’t like to do this. BUT the inverter is awesome. You put in a package of frozen chicken, put in the weight and it calculates and the chicken comes out perfectly thawed. No edges cooked and rubbery. That alone makes it a great addition. I like the 30 seconds button. And once you get used to the way it counts other things, it’s a pleasure and easy.

The microwave arrived in perfect condition and works great. I recommend this product. It looks great on my new kitchen stand.

This product was ordered and shipped my 88 year old dad. It was tossed up on his wooden deck porch. After a few uses the entire glass door shattered on this Emerson microwave, cutting him in several places including face and eyes. Customer service at Amazon was contacted and they refused to replace or refund this item. Please check all items ordered from Amazon since care of delivery of packages does not seem to be of concern to them. I can not say 100% it was Amazon that caused this accident or a defective product but I’ve never had a microwave door completely shatter while warming a cup of coffee for less than a minute.

Decent quality microwave. Have not used it much as of this review. Purchased it for the inverter feature to allow use of my Bluetti battery generators. You can select the power output to match the battery inverter. One Bluetti can handle the max power but my other unit is limited to 1000watts. This unit puts out about 1600watts running at full output. My old 1000 watt microwave ran at 1800 watts which is the limit of my bigger Bluetti. Even inverter microwaves can draw 1600+ watts but at least you can manually adjust the maximum output.

So far, it has worked well, but it is important to mention that it makes a lot of noise—more than usual. It is nice and large, and its functions are perfect.

I had a hard time picking a new microwave after my old one blew up. My old Emerson lasted over 10 years so finally decided to buy this one. I liked that it had inverter technology, that it was 1000W, close enough to my old 1100W model so I can use my usual cook times. Having the cook time button in a handy position was important to me and being able to turn off the child lock feature. It just takes getting used to hitting the stop button when the timer goes off before trying to open the door. I also like that the interior is much easier to wipe down than my old microwave and that it's such a sparkling bright white it starts my day off on a happy note.

lot of drama, child proof is pain in BUTT!! still 2 buttons to open w/safety feature off/ off 1/2 way sorta. I've always had an Emerson microwave for well over 25 years or longer, thought this pretty thing would be just as easy to use as old one... If you like pushing a lot of buttons to use, this one is for you!!! for 1 minute of cook time , just press 1 the when done press a button then you can open.. if you wish 30 seconds 3 buttons. Keep the book close by.. You'll need it even after you read the book then go to do a simple thing
