How well does the remote work with the phone's camera?

My remote doesn't work at all. It pairs fine (as a keyboard device, which makes sense I think), but the shutter release does not work. Customer service has offered a refund of the remote portion of my purchase, but hasn't given me the details yet on how to do that or how much of a credit I will get. They suggested I buy a remote shutter release separately. My phone is a Pixel 7 Pro.

What is the rating of the seller?

I don't know the rating, but I can tell you that my order was received on time and the adapter was in perfect condition and as advertised if that helps.

Has anyone tried to use this adapter on a RifleScope (which has a fair amount of eye relief) ?

I have not, just be aware of the dimensions of the scope. If it fits, it will probably work. Just keep in consideration of the weight of the scope.
