This fruit powder has a reddish brown color. It comes in a resealable, easy to open pouch. I wasn’t able to find any information about its country of origin. The bag states that it contains 100% genuine aguaje fruit powder. The company has a working website. The bag contains 8.9 ounces, which seems pretty substantial. The manufacturer states that it can be a 75 day supply. The powder has a lightly earthy smell, not very discernible. It has good texture and no visible contamination.it doesn’t taste at all fruity. It tastes chalky and gritty. A plastic scoop is included.

It tastes very earthy. I ate half a spoon as recommended, and it tastes like the skin of the almond but very dry. I didn't need to blend it in a smoothes, I just eat it as is. I love the taste and will eat every morning.
