I’ve had this product since summer 2023, so I’ve had it for two partial summers and one full winter so far. I initially purchased the product because the AC wasn’t working in my house last year and I needed something to cool off that I could use while walking around. I did my research and picked this up because of the piezoelectric cooling, as opposed to just being a simple neck fan. On cool mode, it immediately helps cool me down and bring a sense of relief. I use the cool mode anytime I need to quickly cool down or if I’ll be walking around outside in the sun. The fan mode also helps, but I’ve noticed it’s more of a help if the ambient air is also pretty cool or if I’m already sweaty. It also has a heat function which I used a lot in winter, and it gets quite hot, even on the first heat setting. I can go out in freezing weather in just a hoodie and pants for a while if I’m wearing the heater. For hot weather, on cool mode, the fan only lasts a couple of hours. On fan mode, you can get way more battery time. I can make the battery last all day if I’m smart about switching from fan/cool based on if I’m inside or outside, in the shade, etc. Don’t expect this thing to be like a giant AC unit blowing right at your face, but it WILL cool you down a bit and bring some relief. I sometimes wear it to bed if I want some extra fan at night even. The app connectivity is a nice gimmick but I rarely find myself using it and just press the buttons on the device itself. All in all, it was pricey but I really like it. Oh, and it came with a nice case. I usually put it on my neck in off mode when not in use, but the case is nice for throwing the unit into a bag or for travel

I got 2 of these fans for me and my daughter for a mid-June trip to Disney last year, then to use after the trip for her summertime softball games. The idea of having a cooling plate on the back of your neck while cool air is blowed up your neck while it is hot out sounded like an amazing idea and there was a lot of good reviews. However when we used them we had a different experience. To begin with when I opened both neck fans and put both of them on their chargers, the first fan started to charge instantly and charged fairly quickly and I liked how it showed the charging percentage in the side. The second fan however did not. It finally started to charge after I messed around with the charging port some, so I am assuming that fan had a bad connection in its charging cords especially since it took 4 times longer to charge then the first fan. The first fan was fully charged in about 3hrs, however it took 2 days for the second fan to fully charge. After finally getting both charged we tried them on and tested out all the features while in our way to our first Disney park. The cooling plate was nice for about 2 mins but we had to constantly keep adjusting it around our necks since we have a little smaller necks, and after a few mins even with the cooling plate turned on they did not stay cool and just started to have a damp clammy feel to them from our sweat. The fan portion of this neck fan has very little to desire about. The way the vents are placed even with the airflow turned all the way up you can barely feel any air being blowed up the side of your head because the vents are directed straight up and are so close to the neck that if you turn your head to the side or anyway other then straight ahead your neck skin completely covers the vents and you can’t feel any airflow at all. Someone who has a bigger neck has it on their neck would probably completely cover the vents from where they are placed and not feel any airflow at all even looking straight forward. We ended up taking them off after about 15 mins of trying to do any kind of adjusting around our necks to get possibly a better fit or better angle to get some kind of air flow going, but since they was not giving much of any airflow in the direction where we could feel it we just took them off and carried them in our backpacks for the rest of the day, which took up space in our backpacks and added more weight for us to carry that day in the Florida heat. It may not seem like much extra weight but when you are in 100 degree weather with high humidity walking nonstop through Disney from early rope drop at 8am til the park closes at 11pm every ounce in your bag starts to get heavier and heavier through the day. We had better success that day staying cool with our cooling neck towels and then picked up a couple much cheaper neck fan that had the fans positioned out infront of your face to blow air back towards your face that could be adjusted to different angles on our way back to our resort. For how much these cost I had very high hopes, but was extremely disappointed. I did not return these because I was outside of my return date. I purchased everything in January for our June trip so I knew I would have enough time to add things if needed but just had everything stored in the boxes they can in to the side until closer to our trip time. It was my fault that I did not open them during my return window time to charge and try them out before that time period was over, because had I of done that I would of returned them and choose another option since these was not the right fit for us or our needs. So now they have just sat in one of our storage closets for over a year taking up space.

Pro: - cold plates really do get cold especially when indoors - app is easy to use and responsive to the device - fit comfortably around your neck - comes with nice travel case Cons: - depending on how hot it is outside the cold becomes more of semi cold - when outside in direct heat battery life seems to go down. to maybe about 4 to 5 hours in low setting I bought this neck fan as I tend to work outside a lot for work, and after having a bit of a dance with heat exhaustion I needed something to help me stay cool so i could do my work. This fan certainly helps stave off the symptoms of overheating enough for you to remedy them. I think I will look into getting the newer model as the back of the neck area where there is no cooling pad can start to feel warm on the back of your neck. All in all Its a really great device if you dont have the budget for the Coolify 2 and makes for a great introduction device.

I received the package from Amazon without problems. The packaging itself is very sleek, modern and appealing to the eye. The case that the cooling fan comes in is wonderful to protect it in everyday storage and for trips. The cooling/fan only option works amazingly well with its three speeds all the while being comfortable to wear around my neck. The downside to this fan is it affects my earbuds and phone conversations. With the air blowing straight up, the person I'm talking to hears it and it is a distraction. I have noise cancelling earbuds and it is a must that I have it in that mode if I am wearing them while using the neck cooling fan. I do not find the fan noise to be an issue as long as I'm not having a conversation on my earbuds. This is a great product to use while working, exercising, attending a sporting event, etc. in the heat. As for the heating mode...I LOVE it! There is a band on on unit that lays against your neck that gets cold in the air conditioning mode and really warm in the heating mode. It is awesome and I love this product!

I just got my Coolify 2S today. The pads that touch your neck are nice and cold but the air coming out of the vents isn't as cold as I thought it would be. I used it inside with the AC set at 74. The air is directed mostly to your ear area. There is no air blowing on my face which would have been nice. I think the design of this product is for the part that touches your neck to cool down the blood flowing through your arteries to keep your head cool. The air alone doesn't do enough. I wear collared shirts for my job so I have to put this on the outside of the collar. On one hand it reduces the amount of skin contact cooling, on the other it prevents the odd sensation when this is against your skin. It almost feels uncomfortable. My main concern right now is the unit will not charge past 86%. I will let it run down and try charging it again. There is really no design I can think of that would allow cool air to blow on your face and top of your head without it looking ridiculous. If there was, this would be an amazing device. The packaging was nice and it comes with a decent case. They could have included the adapter to plug the USB end of the charge cable into the wall. I have to use the adapter from my iphone.

If you get heat flashes this is great. It makes you feel much better. Compared to a neck fan cooler, you’d throw the fan out. I really like it. I’ve used it the whole summer. I ventured outside when I really would have stayed inside because it was so hot. Others that I know from NYC and DC swear by it too. (That means they live it.) I went to the mountains in Colorado and it was great to turn it into a heater for your neck. [I am waiting for the full body suit so I can turn off A/C cooling and heating. Sit in a chair and plug me in.] I will keep buying these if the battery goes. It hasn’t slowed down though. Using the app is great. There aren’t just three speeds! I start at C1, use for 15 minutes, then switch to C2 for 20 minutes. I use C3 sparingly. I usually end at 52% battery. Run & charge from external power bank. This is really clever on their part. When you get into a car, charge it and continue to use it. Usually I fully charge the neckset before using an external power bank. Green USB connector. But that isn’t really needed. I figure it is easier on a power bank. I have a hefty power bank that has never gotten below 80%. But, it would easily give a days usage at C3. I have never done this. I tend to try and get out of the heat every hour. Expect to sweat on your neck. It really makes it transmit more heat from you to the cooling plates. I carry a paper towel to wipe the inside before using the neckset. The fan blowing up avoids my ears and really cools. But, I would not watch TV at C3. You can hear but it’s distracting. I do not really feel stupid wearing them. People think I’m listening to music or something. I wear them an entire day and forget they are there. They aren’t heavy and aren’t annoying.

OUTDOORS: Underperforms outdoors in 87+ heat with high humidity. I wore this three times before writing this review. I bought the Coolify S2 strictly wearing inside my old car (it has no air conditioning) driving 5 miles to work. I live in the Midwest in triple digit heat index high humidity scorching summers. The Coolify 2S is sturdy, well made, not too heavy for short term use, and very flexible. It feels comfortable for looking straight ahead, but in turning my head while driving, my chin bumps into the device ends and that is annoying. I expected a continuous cool feel on the plate. After a few minutes of wear, the Coolify device just feels like an annoying plastic collar, so I kept moving it slightly around my neck to feel the cooling metal plate. That worked a bit to cool, but it’s really distracting to have to do that constantly while driving. Maybe I expected a cold feeling but even the “cool” feeling in high humidity heat was offset by the warmish air of the fan, and the sweaty feel of the plastic collar against my bare skin. The fan in hot outdoor weather (87 F +) is strong and not too noisy but not as “cooling” as I hoped for even with the cooling plate on. It’s just warmish air blowing up strongly. If the ambient air around you is very hot, the Coolify 2S might cool a few degrees, but it will not cool you like a tight cold water vest, and tying an ice cold bandana around your neck will. Which is what I now wear for the rest of summer. The Coolify 2S might be useful for cooler weather, LOL. INDOORS: This is a good device working in a hot office, (which would not be as hot as the outdoors.) I tried wearing it for a short time while typing at the computer, and enjoyed it. The cooling effect was quite noticeable but the room was not as hot as outdoors either. The device cools you down then with a nice strong fan, and the cooling plate in tandem. However, moving your head around, the chin hitting the plastic is annoying. MISC. Instruction can be very difficult to read. Really TINY silver ink words on black paper. Otherwise the entire packaging and design of the product was extremely beautiful. Could win design awards. I love the zippered oval hard case to store the neck device in. But worth the super high price? I am not using it now and it’s still blazing hot summer. iPhone or Android Bluetooth app will only work with iPhone, but the device still works with any type phone- Android, etc- you just will be pressing the device buttons manually on the Coolify instead of phone. The Coolify 2S came charged out of the box. SAFETY: Note, the safety instructions says to “Avoid using in extremely dry environments” or in “extremely high temperature humid conditions.” “Not to use for more than 30 minutes” on either cooling or warming settings. Huh? None of that makes sense! People will be using this device in all kinds of environments, and for longer than 30 minutes. All in all it’s a LOT of money for the $229 price I paid for the item with the extended warranty.

The description is false; the battery lasts about 2 hours even on level 1. It’s not a lot of use if you’re out in the heat for a longer time. Quite disappointing for the price. Update: went wrong after less than a month and stopped working. Sent back

I bought this product last year to help me combat the heat. I am super sensitive to the heat. I thought it was great at first because it actually gets cold. But soon I realized it is not nearly as effective as I had hoped. The fans do not blow with much force at all and you can't adjust the angle at all. It does get cold on the neck but it isn't very effective. If I wear this outside I hardly notice it doing anything but blowing air at my ears. The battery power sucks so this can only be used for maybe 3 hours before needing to be charged. I am very disappointed with this product. Save yourself the money and just get a neck fan.

Not cooling at all Bad product

The product is sleek and refined. Like the cooling effect. However, much noisier than Xiao Mi neck fan that I also own by close to 10db. The numbers of outlets can be improved to give 360 deg cooling both top and bottom.
