I read several posts in a detailing forum how Hyper Seal can be sticky and watched a few videos on YouTube about how it is not as effective as other sealants, but I trust the Optimum and Opti-coat brand, so I gave it a try anyway. I have a ceramic coated car, so your experience may differ if your car is not coated. I first applied it with a foam applicator and it went on smoothly, which is contrary to what I had read. High spots were easy to spread and wipe off. The results were awesome, a really beautiful high shine. I’ve also read that some people had issues applying Hyper Seal to windows at it would cloud them up, but I had no such issue. Windows were clear after use. The only problem I have is with the smell. It has an astringent odor that took me aback because I had been using Optimum Opti-seal for years and that product is odorless. The odor does go away, but with that odor I wonder if I should be using a mask when using it. All in all, I can’t deny the results. Car retains its shine and looks great even after parking outdoors for a few days. I also feel like it doesn’t Hyper Seal doesn’t shed off as quickly as Opti-seal.

Well worth the price. Simple streak free application with amazing results.

This product is extremely under hyped unless you’re in the know. It’s basically a spray on ceramic coating. Was nervous at first but I used a foam applicator and used an 8 oz misting bottle to spray 1-2 spray per panel and the results are unreal. Did exterior window, carbon fiber and was flawless. Does need to be leveled sometimes so prepare for that. Widows were 99% perfect except some streaks/ high spots, only on the glass this morning when I got into sunlight, probably user error, also did not fully decontaminate before so it may have just been some residual wax. Did this for a dry application. Smell is pretty bad if u put ur face up to it but didn’t really notice it when applying, used gloves too. Plan on using it as a rinse aid for regular washing going forward until it wears off completely and I do another dry application. FYI: Amazon packages this product extremely poorly. When I buy this product again I would order directly from TRC or Opti website for better packaging.

Wanted to find a drying aid for washes at home. This stuff is easy to apply (1-2 sprays per panel) while wet. Then a quick wipe with a waffle cloth and the shine is incredible. Microswirls are well addressed and should help to maintain the ceramic coat beneath. Cost is very reasonable considering how little is needed with each application. Already recommended it to a fellow car enthusiast. I’m definitely a fan!

The product was fine, but the squirter is damaged. I reached out and haven’t heard from them. I need a new spray nozzle.

Started with Optimum No Rinse Wash then used Hyper Seal while drying then finished with Turtle Wax Ceramic spray wax for Black Cars. Used a paint brush with the black spray wax to get in hard to reach seams and crevices. Both cars are over a year old and look better now than new from the dealer. The Opti-Coat Hyper Seal is expensive but a bottle should last a year or two since it only takes a spray or two for each section and when the rag is wet with Hyper Seal it goes a long way.

I've been using optimum products exclusively for the last year and a half. Hyperseal does take a little longer to flash than optiseal but I feel it gives better longevity. Living in Pennsylvania with the winters and lots of dirty rain I do tend to wash our vehicles weekly in the summer and bi-montly in the winter. As for the longevity of a dry application I can't really tell in terms of using it once and seeing how long it lasts as I use hyperseal as a drying aid weekly. The bottle does spray out a bit more product than the optiseal bottles but I realized I can wave it across the panel and dry two panels at once with about the same amount. Dry application is done in the spring and fall on our vehicles, recently got the optimum aplicators and hyperseal goes on much smoother. I don't notice a difference with shine as opposed to decontaminated pain. I guess if you wanted more shine you could put optimum wax on overtop but again our vehicles are washed weekly.

Hyper Seal is the tip of the spears in ceramic sealer. GOATS OF ALL SEALERS! Incredibly easy to use. I have a 5 year coating coming on my 4Runner. I used hyper seal after I wash and dry my vehicle on special occasions. This product goes a long ways. You don’t need much. Spray some on your microfiber towel Or one or two sprays per panel. It’s worth every penny. Leaves a really high glossy shine. After wipe down make sure to buff it out with a separate clean Microfiber towel or flip the towel to a dry side. so it doesn’t streak your car.
