I bought this for my apartment that has horrible tasting water. I wanted to use less water bottles and save money overall. This filtering system has been a game changer for the overall quality of the tap water. Water tastes so much better so I believe the filtering system is working as intended. Instructions were easy to understand and I had this installed in about 10 minutes.

I bought this for my son who attends Pittsburg State College in Pittsburg Ks. Pittsburg is an old mining town and its water has a lot of minerals, etc. And son was buying bottled water because he couldn't stand it. He said this filter does a great job. The water coming out of it is clear whereas the tap was a little cloudy. And he doesn't taste anything. I believe it was fairly easy to install. I would recommend it.

NSF 42 does not certify the removal of PFOA or PFOS. Because those chemicals are considered health risks, they fall under a different, more rigorous standard. NSF 42 also doesn't cover: ​Lead or Mercury ​Arsenic ​Bacteria or Viruses ​Pesticides its only good for taste, smell and dirt thats why we still get that white crusty stuff on our coffee pot and sink top. these are excellent for their need but nothing more.

Had a few days now, got it to replace our Aquasana that is hard to change filter out and the filters are more expensive. We love the taste, the water pressure is great (tubes are a lot bigger) and fills up the pot much faster. The spigot is also much better and has a solid turn valve and not a flimsy pin that pulls out. Will see if can get a year out of it as was replacing the Auguasana every 6 months. It is more attractive on the counter with the stainless steel. The only thing is the tubes come out of the unit on 2 sides. Thought the foot print on Water Drop might be smaller and it is slightly but not as much as I thought due to it coming from 2 side. Came with a big "Wrench" to open up the housing cover and several tips of faucet adapters where as Aquasana makes you to ask to send after purchase. Seems like WaterDrop has thought of all scenerios.
