Osi Sealants 3 Oz Superflex Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant 908570 3oz

Nice clear sealent, I bought the first tube neatly 2 years ago, to fix, and seal, a perspex splash back for the kitchen sink. This is still as good today as it was the day I installed it. The tube allowed me to apply a fine bead of sealent and wasnt as messy to use as the cartridges. I have also used it outside to fill small gaps around a south facing windows, were ants were getting in. The sealent is still usable two years on, as long as it is stored properly. I only bought a second tube because the original metal tube has been squeezed to oblivion and I have other worksurfaces that need resealing. It has stayed clear and hasn't turned milky coloured over time even it a very damp environment.

For the past few years I've ONLY cooked using Silicone. Using Silicone has saved me a fortune on grease-proof paper; plain flour and oils which BEFORE I always NEEDED to use to prevent food from sticking to the containers I cooked the food in. This sealant adequately glues items together without allowing food to contaminate the adhesive properties of the product and I recommend anyone who cooks as often as I, purchasing it because it will save them lots of money in years to come as it has already done for me. I bought a cheap Silicone container which after its first use came apart. This product prevented me from throwing the item away because I was able to repair it adequately. Trouble with food container manufacturers is they DOWNRIGHT REFUSE to make adequately sized containers so I have to make these myself.

Does the job but cures slowed than the large tubes in my opinion

I needed to seal an added rubber colour co-ordinated strip around my bath/shower, so I needed approx 8 metres of sealant beading. I figured this would be more precise than a large tube and gun. Firstly, the nozzle started moving away from the screw fitting after I first started to press the tube. Within 40 cms of application, both sides of the nozzle had popped and I needed to tape it down with some gaffer tape. About 3/4 the way inyo the job, the sealant started sweeping out of the sides of the gaffer tape so the nozzle had clearly popped off completely. To say there was sealant everywhere was a bit of an understatement. However, I found it cleaned off fairly easily with hand sanitiser so I just cleaned as I went, but it made it a very long and laborious job. Would I buy it again? No, maybe a smaller size so I can switch when it breaks, but I can't use anymore of the tube and it's not even half used - it's a total mess. It also makes your hands really sore where you have to keep pressing the tube (more so when it's coming out of every other available gap and not just the nozzle). Hopefully it does what is says and will allow us to freely use the shower again.

Sealed the crack at the base of my waterbutt a treat, ideal for small repairs if you don't want to buy a full tube and let it go off before you have used it all

This is a nice super glue easy to use with the applicator-also you won’t use too much than required because you can control it with the side pumps. The tip will not be blocked as the cover provided helps that thing to happen HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

Very strong bond after 2 days of curing . I needed RTV silicone adhesive so I used this for glueing some electronics and it did a superb job. Very mendable even for half hour and then if you need full strength cure it for 48 hrs . But yes very nice . If it hasn't cured fully , smells like spirits , and when the smell is gone / faded to v low , you could say it finished curing . Do not seal it while curing since it needs the open air to do so .
