I ordered this set without much hope that it would be all that great - Christmas snuck up on me this year, and by the time I realized that my entire neighborhood had turned into a festival of lights, I was way behind the power curve. Once again, Amazon saved the day. If I couldn't have Disneyland in my front yard, at least I would have a small nod to the season in the windows.So I ordered these lights. They weren't horrifically overpriced like some of the other sets for sale (or not even sets - $12.95 for a single candle that comes in a single color is money I'd rather spend on Korean skincare products!!), and they seemed to have more options than a lot of other candles I'd seen.Not only did the candles come with several ways to attach to a variety of surfaces, but they also came with an incredibly cool, intuitive-to-use remote with a whole slew of color options that the candles can be set to. You'll see two of the colors in my picture - yes, you can actually set these ingenious little candles to alternate colors from window to window. That wasn't just something the seller showed to illustrate the color options (as I had originally assumed). You can set the color of each individual candle. BRILLIANT.But the thing is, because there are so many color/attachment choices, these could easily be year-round special occasion candles. They came with a little clip that is obviously designed to attach to branches of a Christmas tree, but change the candle color to pink or purple and you've got a really cute place setting at a princess birthday party. Or use one of the little spikes that are included as an attachment and put these candles in a birthday cake, a potted plant, or even around a picnic blanket. I'm not even a very creative person and I can't stop coming up with ways to use them. They are just that great.So this oh-no-I'm-really-behind-quick-better-order-something-ANYTHING-to-prove-I'm-not-the-neighborhood-Scrooge purchase turned into a major success. My only issue (and a very minor one) was that some of the suction cups were slightly bent out of shape from the way they'd been packaged, so for a few of the candles I had to squeeze the suction cup back into shape, and add a temporary piece of tape to hold it to the window until it regained its form. If you're planning to use these someplace very visible and immediately out of the box, you might want to keep that in mind and be ready with a backup plan. Otherwise, these are one of those truly brilliant inventions that we all wish we'd come up with ourselves.

I purchased the candles in January and they look really nice in the windows. They show up really well from the street. Changing the colors is very fun and easy to do. Occasionally the suction cup will come off the window, but if I wet it a little bit and then press a little harder on the window they stay on with no problem at all. They have rarely fallen off in the last two months. Today, one of my bulbs stopped working. I read that customer service was very responsive, so I called the number listed and was very impressed. The gentleman picked up the phone right away, and I told him what I was calling for. He said to text him my order number so he could look it up. Once I did, he texted back right away and said that not only was he going to send me a replacement bulb, but that he was going to send me three candles ( with their bulbs), three clips, three suction cups, and three snowflakes. He even took a screenshot of what he put together for me and then texted me my tracking number. Because he is only three hours from my location, he said I should get the package the beginning of next week. I told him that I was very impressed with his customer service, and that nowadays that is lacking. If you choose to purchase these candles, rest assured, if you have any issues it’ll be immediately resolved. I would not hesitate to order anything from him in the future. Again, excellent customer service!

These candles are delightful. Small, simple design, inexpensive. Perfect for adding a holiday touch to some of our windows. The kids love the multi color options on the remote. Bonus for their windows: they double as a night light. One of the suction cups was bent a didn’t stick so after 2 soaks in hot water (as per the instructions) it works fine. Important to let the cup cool on a flat surface to get the right shape.

These arrived well packaged and everything works. There are directions for inserting the batteries and for operating the remote. Good value for the price.The candles come with the "clip" on them for putting on a Christmas tree. This are easily removed and exchanged for the "spike" for putting into the ground or a planter. The suction cup thing took me a couple of minutes to figure out (no directions on this). The suction cup set up is three parts: the candle base, a U-shaped piece, and the suction cup itself. Push the "U" through the hole in the suction cup all the way until just the ball at the end of the U is out at the suction cup side. Place the candle into the candle base which has a little ball on the bottom of it that has a hole in it. Fit the hole in the candle base onto the other arm of the U.Some of the suction cups were not quite flat against the window. I fixed this by forcing it down very hard onto a flat horizontal surface (countertop) and then warmed it with a blow dryer on high setting to get it to reform correctly.These are just what I needed. I use blue lighting in the windows during Advent and then switch to white for the Christmas season. I used to have the plug-in incandescent candles and change the bulbs on Christmas day. A company rep said they would last about two weeks if I have them on steady (instead of flickering) with the four hour timer.

Love the colors and the easy assembly as well as the different display options. We used the suction cups to display on our windows. They pop off pretty easily when bumped (we have a 1 year old so they have fallen off a lot with her reaching up at them) but hold on pretty well other than that. I like that there are a lot of colors but was disappointed to see that there wasn't a 'white' light option. I wanted something 'candle-like' for our Christmas decorations and none of the colors really gave me what I was looking for. They are also not very bright from the road. I would love it if the remote could control all of them at once so I wouldn't have to turn them on/off individually but my older kids actually like taking turns turning on the lights so it's not a huge issue yet.I wouldn't recommend the, but they work for now.

Easy to use and set up, plenty of attatchments, currently stuck in front window on flicker mode. Good value and look good, could use at any time of year and not just christmas.
