They’re not the cheapest, but the way they work is brilliant. Great hydration, easy to take while running, and no need to carry a bottle with me. These helped me finish my first 10K charity run with zero stops, thanks SIS GO! Price to quality is spot on, they are tasty and they often run good promos too. Long shelf life, and every time you see them lying around they remind you to get out and train. Highly recommend giving them a try.

My go to running gels! Used to get them at home bargains for 89p a sachet, but they seem to have stopped doing them. So £4.99 for 7 sachets is a bargain and a variety of flavours aswell. Long dated - EXP Jan 27, bought May 26.

The gels are good quality and do the trick but I actually found them cheaper in Home Bargains

I've recently started training for a half marathon and these have been a game changer. An energy boost and negate the need to carry a drink with me. They are easy to open and they taste pretty good.

When i did the Spartan obstacle race a couple of years ago, I really suffered from cramps on my legs. My friend has a couple extra energy gels which I had that helped me recover quickly and complete the race, it was quite effective and kept me hydrated as well. Since it was my first time, the taste wasn't pleasant, but now looking back i see the pack i had was blackcurrent, which isn't my fav flavour. I have now bought a pack of 15 so I can carry these during my trip to the Everest base camp. this pack is value for money and easy to use each of these on the go and of course not to forget it has lots of health benefits too.

The gels are decent. The ingredients are OK and you don't feel the effect as much. They taste as the flavour describes it, fruity! They are easy to swallow and do not need water to get through them. However, I had an issue with my order, one gel was removed with the package open, and I could not return it, unfortunately.

The Gels given to me, is about to expired in less than a month. Very frustrating. Cant even return the product.

Aunque no me gusta abusar de los geles, y siempre que puedo, procuro buscar alternativas más saludables, hay ocasiones, en las que no queda más remedio que recurrir a los geles. En esas ocasiones, llevo bastantes años usando geles de la marca SIS con un buen resultado. Me gustan porque no me provocan molestias estomacales, los asimilo muy bien, y creo que su composición es correcta. Los sabores, a diferencia de otras marcas, son bastante agradables (los de manzana son los que menos gracia me hacen) y no me resultan excesivamente dulces. Estos geles en concreto se pueden tomar sin agua sin resultar empalagosos hasta la saciedad (aunque con un sorbito de agua pasan mejor). Además de todo lo anterior, normalmente se encuentran a un precio muy interesante. Eso sí, no estaría mal que incluyeran dentro del pack algún gel con cafeína, para algunas ocasiones viene bien esa chispa que aporta la cafeína, y teniendo en cuenta que son 15 geles, no estaría mal que incluyeran algún sabor con algo de cafeína para los días de competición por ejemplo. Y si todo parece tan positivo, te preguntarás porque considero que no son los mejores … pues porque existe una marca como Maurten, que considero que ahora mismo produce los mejores geles del mercado. Personalmente, son los que mejor me van, y son casi sin sabor, con una textura que hace que casi se tengan que masticar, pero que personalmente me resultan muy agradable. ¿El inconveniente de los geles de Maurten? El precio, que dobla fácilmente el de estos geles, así que suelo alternar estos geles de SIS con los de Maurten, reservando estos últimos para carreras principalmente. En resumen, me parecen muy recomendables, y una buena opción, pero para pruebas de larga distancia (como las maratones), donde necesitas tomar bastantes geles, prefiero los Maurten, pero para entrenos largos y pruebas mas cortas, los SIS me dan muy buen resultado, a un precio sensiblemente inferior.

I don’t have too much experience running and consuming carb gels, but these are practical and easy to consume without water. Nice flavors too!
