Cade really broke my heart with his insecurities I kept telling him through the book you did good you deserve better 🥹 till the ends he still doubting if he deserve to be happy ; I wanted to hug him so bad. His dirty talk wasn't expected to be honest 🤣 he's hot and irresistible, every time he says "woman" it does something weird to me🤰. Willa was relatable af with her insecurities and unplanned future, she's funny and steaming hot. Every time Cade push her away I felt heartache for her. Rhett was fun I might read his book but I don't think I enjoyed the other characters peeking that much like how much they talk about Jasper every time he's around. Luke is so adorable I loved him too he broke my heart when he asked about what his baby sister will call Willa ! 😭

Firstly the amount of times I’ve reread this book is absurd. However, I will continue to reread this book because Daddy Cade is just the Man that he is. I too would want to have his babies.

THIS is why I read romance!!! I wish I could bottle the serotonin this book gave me. A perfectly told story with the right amount of heat, swoon, angst, heart and laughs. Special mention to Harvey (Cade and Rhett's dad) who is possibly one of the funniest side characters in a book. Breeding kink 😂 blow jobs 😂 just trust me, it's not even what you think. There are scenes in this book that are gonna live rent free in my head for a very long time 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 like the filthy mouth on Cade is next level.

L’attrazione tra di loro è di certo molto forte e predominante, tuttavia c’è molto di più. ⠀ Ho amato la fragilità di Cade, la sua paura di rimanere di nuovo ferito dopo quello che è successo con la madre di Luke, la sua lealtà verso la famiglia e chi ama. Nonostante il suo carattere a tratti scorbutico, è un uomo meraviglioso con un sorriso mozzafiato e un cuore enorme. Ho amato Willa per la sua esuberanza, per la sua propensione a proteggere chi ama e per la sua libertà, il suo essere se stessa con forza e senza vergognarsi di niente. ⠀ I due protagonisti mi hanno davvero conquistato in tutto per tutto, sono caratterizzati davvero molto bene e conquistano il cuore del lettore. Mi hanno fatto sorridere, ridere e, soprattutto, innamorare. ⠀ Ci sono scene molto spicy, ma anche momenti ironici e divertenti. Un mix perfetto! Super consigliato!

I fell in love with these characters all over again! I could write a huuuge review but I'll just keep it “short” for Amazon. Seriously, I knew this book would be my favorite even before I read it. Just the tropes, blurb, and what I already knew of Cade&Willa was enough to feel such a strong pull towards them. To this day, Heartless is always my favourite. Infinite 5 stars to my fav Chestnut Springs couple! It's always a good time to read Willa and Cade's love story. It's always fun, truly so fun. I blushed, I cried, I giggled, I laughed out loud, I kicked my feet, I smile from ear to ear. I fell so in love with Willa, Cade, and Luke in 2022 and still feel deeply connected to this book. I loved every second of reading this book, and it's always perfect, over and over again. Cade and Willa were both a little lost, her wandering through the sense of no direction in life while working at her brother’s bar, and him only living for his work and son, closed off since his last relationship. And then, they end up on the same path. The relationship that Willa and Luke built was incredibly special and precious. Those two were giving Cade some extra grays and he secretly enjoyed every second of it hehe ;) he's a big softy for Luke and Willa. "You two think you’re funny, don’t you?” well, they are HAHAHAHA At 25, Willa is stumbling through life and feels like she doesn't have any sense of direction. She says her family is full of overachievers, and she doesn't have the same big passion or goal like her parents or brother and the careers they built. Summer gets her a job as a nanny for a cowboy single dad. Now she gets to stay in the same small town as her best friend who's dating his younger brother. At 35, Cade has his hands full. He takes care of the family ranch full time, while also raising his son Lucas, who's 5 years old. Cade is straightforward, he'll tell it like it is, and that made him and Willa have such a perfect match. He is the oldest Eaton brother. Bigger, taller and meaner. He's also the grumpy one. And that grumpy face goes beyond his grumpy personality. After losing their mother Isabele (when their sister Violet was born), Cade felt the weight on his shoulders as the oldest kid. He helped raise Rhett and Beau, while their dad was focused on taking care of Violet. Now, as a single dad, he watches his son grow up and fears not being there to keep him safe. Cade spent years and years making sure everyone around him is taken care of and happy. He's dutiful, selfless, and super responsible. And here's the thing... "You deserve to be happy too, Cade.” He does, he deserves to be extremely happy, but what happened to him in his previous relationship made him scared. And he communicated that to Willa, that he felt scared he wouln't be enough and she'd leave him. Open communication. Heart to heart. Cade is the embodiment of actions speaking louder than words. That's what Willa says. It's possible to see that in the book, how he shows his love by doing things for his loved ones, specially cooking. So it's pretty special when he also shows his love through words, saying that he likes her, appreciates her, loves her, and wants to give her all of the things she dreams of. He will make all of them happen. Luke is incredibly precious. Happy, sweet, honest, and so funny. Willa tells him that he might be the coolest kid she's ever met. My heart melted every time these two interacted. They have so much fun together and Luke thinks Willa is hilarious (which she is!) so she even mentions she has never felt cooler than she does when she's hanging out with him. Luke loves talking to her and playing music with her. She tells Summer that he's so cool and that spending time with him doesn't feel like work 🥺❤️‍🩹 Cade narrates that he tries hard to shield Luke from the reality of his mom, Talia, leaving them and not visiting (only when it's his birthday). He doesn't want Luke to feel unwanted because of her choices. Later on, Willa describes that when Luke talks, everyone listens. Such a small mention shows how much love and attention Luke gets from his dad, uncles and grandpa. I saw how they shower him with love so he never feels unwanted because of his mother. What happened affected Cade and how he dealt with relationships/women after that. Which well... he didn't deal with it that much. So he threw on a grumpy face and moved on focusing only on his son and the Wishing Well Ranch. Talking to strange women isn’t one of his skills. Scowling at them? The man is a professional. Talia called him heartless. And... how wrong was she. He's anything but that. Everything that happened made his trust levels hit the rock bottom. He doesn't feel ready to be laid bare by Willa because the last time he did, it wasn't enough. So seeing him warm up to Willa, he sees her taking care of Luke, truly enjoying her time with him and having Luke like her back, all those small moments made his heart flutter seeing them together. He once mentions how adorable he finds that Luke likes Willa so much, that even after 1 day in the city, he missed her so much. “Thank you for trusting me with Luke. This is already the best summer I’ve had in a long time.” “You’re welcome. Thank you for making him laugh like that. Best sound in the world." MY HEART 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 Plus he felt attracted to her since the first time he spotted her HAHAHAHA so he was fighting his attraction since day 1 lol poor Cade. Had a laugh seeing him jealous of Willa with Lance and seeing her dance with him and other men BAHAHAHAHA sulking! and Beau making fun of him is hilarious + his own ranch workers also making ‘fun’ of him I mean... what an iconic way to meet 🤣😉 “You, uh, dropped your panties, ma’am.” “Finders keepers” From the jump, they have my full heart and attention. Cade was right behind her in line, saw a mane of red hair, full ass rounding out her skinny jeans, and heard her laugh and thought "Her laugh has nothing on her face. Cat-like eyes, arched brows, and milky skin. She's f stunning." When Willa describes Cade it’s all man, s3xy, thick thighs and all scowls. Please, he's so unreal.... literally 🤣 and he cooks so well. Not only in his own book, it's mentioned in other books that Cade cooks when they have family dinner. Willa, you really won in life. I have so much fun with Willa, it never gets old. She truly says what's on her mind, and lets Cade deal with it. I laughed so much with these two throughout the series because of those scenes where she says something and he's like *rubs his face* "Red......" 🤣 she keeps him on his toes. As Cade himself said, "She’s going to drive me up the wall". Speaking of insane and funny characters, shout out Harvey Eaton. The funniest man ever. He gave us so many hilarious scenes. What a joy to read! Willa flirting with Cade and throwing whatever she thinks at him had me GIGGLINGGGGG AHHH I LOVE THEM "Your panties are still in my back pocket.” “You saving them for later?” and then she winks at him COME ON 🤣😭 “Cade is the panty guy?” “For f sake. I am not the panty guy.” dear reader, he was, indeed, the panty guy 🤣🤣 Willa mentions that she was blessed with two cool parents that would do anything for her. That inspires her to be a fierce and fearless mother one way. And even before oficially being Luke's mom, she was that. She protected him fiercely and fearlessy during that kid's birthday party. A fierce mom for Luke & Emma. They're incredibly lucky to have her 🥺 Special highlight for the first #D4ddyCade scene ❤️‍🔥😭 “You rule with an iron fist, D4ddy Eaton.” “That’s what we call my dad.” “D4ddy Cade it is.” and THIS? BEG. “Stay,” “Beg.” “Pardon me?” “You heard me.” “Beg.” “Please stay.” “Don’t leave.” “I really need your help. Please stay.” The last chapter was so special. I teared up. Willa & Luke built such a special bond and I'm so happy to read this scene and later on see him call her Mom in the other books. Seeing them welcome Emma into the world was precious. 🥺💗😭 THE BONUS EPILOGUE 🥺💗😭 I was smiling ear to ear. Every bonus we get, every glimpse of Cade&Willa in the next books, it's all so special to me. I love following them through the series and seeing them have Emma and get married in Hopeless was truly special. So, this bonus seeing their Halloween together and Cade proposing??? THANK YOU ELSIE 🥺💗😭

this book has it all, cowboys and dilfs. what more do you need in life than that? this book was such fun to read, i loved the pacing and the banter between the main characters. 5 stars!! ⭐️
