These envelopes work so well for mass mailing! Quality in design makes them so dependable, no folds or stickiness.

This is the first time that I have used a self-sealing envelope and I have a couple of observations for you. I did not feel that the adhesive was inadequate and it seemed to have been dried out and I wondered if it might come open and allow the contents to come out during the mailing process. In the past, I’ve always had the peel and stick type and I do feel that that is a better way to go as they have better adhesive and when you stick and shut, you know that it is secure. The sign of this envelope I feel contributes to the problem. There are two flaps the lower part of the envelope flap is folded down in the manufacturing process as is the upper part. When the lower flap is folded up in preparation for ceiling, the envelope, then the upper flap is folded down and the two glue strips Are than aligned and theoretically stick together. I say theoretically, because if you were to try and reopen the envelope immediately after sticking a shot. It’s only partially stuck. It is a weak part of the design. I have a photo below that kind of shows you a little bit about what I’m speaking of. There is another aspect of this envelope, which I believe is also problematic and that is in the process of stuffing the envelope, there are two strips of paper, one on each side, that interfere with inserting your document into the envelope. If you buy these envelopes after having read the above review , at least you were forewarned and if you don’t like them, you will see that you gambled and lost.

This is my fourth box of these and they are great envelopes.

TERRIBLE. ADHESIVE ON FLAPS DOES NOT MATCH UP SO THE ENVELOPES DO NOT STAY SEALED. HAD TO USE TAPE. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN.

Box was delivered during a rain/snow storm, but in a plastic envelope, so I'm not sure if this could have negatively affected the self-stick sealing of these envelopes, but they were very dry, didn't appear to be damaged in any way. They did seal, but with just a finger, you could easily re-open the envelope. The box had a '2022' date, so I don't think they were too old... but anyway, the security paper is fine and the quality of the envelopes otherwise appeared to ge good.
