Quality construction laminated board with good wheels and bearings. I noticed it runs way smoother and faster than my older, more expensive downhill board. Love the design and the size, being super light makes it easy to carry. Also arrived in a matter of days.

The media could not be loaded.  Skateboard but I got the skateboard with leaves on it instead. That’s all right I guess, this is the other one I thought about ordering anyways, it looks like it was previously used but very gently. Maybe a couple nicks on the side of the board other than that everything looks great. I just wanted to get one because my eight year old son’s got a skateboard so we can spend time together now

It is not cheap, but the quality is really premium, so to a certain extend, it is worth the money. I am no skateboard expert, but just by examining this board verse other board I had, the quality of this board really stands out.When riding this board, the ride is very smooth, and this board is very easy to control; it is indeed good for beginners all the way to advanced riders who can do a lot of (long board) tricks on this board.The graphics is very attractive, and an impressive part is that they even include graphics on the upper deck, on the grip tape!I don't give a lot of 5-stars, but I think this particular product is worthy of my top rating.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

I've had the greatest pleasure trying out these Island Skateboards, and of all of them, this one is my favorite. Everything from the build quality to the Artwork and grip tape, I really don't know why Island isn't more mainstream, all the boards I have from them are top notch!!I skated a lot when I was a kid and haven't really done much of it in the last 15 years and lost a lot of balance/board savvy, so I got really excited when these came up to review.This is my first time using a downhill board, but i feel super secure with this thing underneath my feet, the grip tape keeps my feet where I want them, and the trucks an bushings are easily adjusted, if its too loose for you.I've just been having a blast with this thing. You cant go wrong with an Island Board!5/5 STARS ***** RECOMMENDED

This longboard is so much easier to control and ride for my son. There was hardly any learning curve. He just got on and started cruising down the driveway. His previous skateboard was a cheapo plastic "penny board" which he disliked and rarely used. And honestly, I was a little hesitant for him to learn on. This longboard is 100% better in every way. The wood deck. The grippy top surface. Stability. The responsive turning. I feel MUCH better letting him learn on this board. He actually looks forward to practicing. I still have to remind him to put on all his pads and helmet though.
