6X Dishmatic Refill Sponges from Caraselle

A friend introduced me to the wonders of the dishmatic. It's a hollow handle that you clip a scouring sponge onto. You then fill the handle with the washing up liquid of your choice. Then as you wash with the sponge, capillary action draws the washing up liquid out through some tiny holes. It works very well. If like me, you're constantly washing up bits and pieces throughout the day, it saves an awful lot of washing up liquid. If you're using a concentrated liquid, I also add a bit of water into the handle. That seems to work well. These are replacement sponges, they are very reasonably priced and 6 will last me 6 months. I have a feeling that my handle is Sainsburys own brand, but these sponges fit it perfectly. It you haven't tried it, I can thoroughly recommend the system. Update: I have on occasion, only received three sponges instead of six and have had to send them back. Amazon are now putting a 'do not separate' sticker on the packs which is very welcome. (Photo.) The fact that I can use one handle and just replace the brush is fabulous, 'green' and hygienic!

It does what it’s suppose to do.

I’ve bought these in the shops for over 2 years and never had an issue, seen the same brand on here and much cheaper so gave them a bash. Easy to use and just click into the standard unit, first one we put on came apart from the sponge base and was left flopping about. The others have been fine although you can see where the glue has been added to stick it down, which I’ve never seen from the shops before. Others have worked well but guessing there’s a reason why they are cheaper

Good value

Works on everything. Handy reservoir for fairy liquid (other wash up liquids are available) which lasts for weeks. The replacement heads are good too. The hold is comfortable and, I dare say, ergonomic.

Good Service - convenient, on time and product consistent

The original green sponge lasted for ages which is why I bought these replacements. This is the first of the packet of six I have bought but it is not wearing well and no longer clips at the back of the sponge so is constantly falling off. Very disappointing - not to say annoying!

Caraselle - 6 spugne abrasive, ricambi per Dish Matic non sono molto abrasive ma fanno il loro dovere nella pulizia delle pentole e piatti molto sporchi, consigliato alle massaie più esigenti.
