I started my plant parent journey last spring. As I started collecting plants I quickly became hooked and by my 6 month mark I had close to 75 plants but I needed to simplify my day to day obligation. I purchased my first set of these in September of 2024 and now have a total of 40 of these pots. My plants have THRIVED in these pots, every single one especially over the winter. It was like the summer months never ended and some have even outgrown the space. I have everything from alocasia, philos, monstera, aglos, anthurium, peperomia, syngonium, and dracaena. The only plants I didn't put in these are hoya. My alocasia that are in these pots have many more leaves then the ones not in these pots. If you struggle with alocasia like I do, give these a try. Before purchasing these I scoured the internet looking for the best option. I actually wanted a clear pot with a clear reservoir but I was unable to find any. I'm glad I found these! The price is perfect and they're super easy to use. As someone who used to kill all plants even in the hydroponic systems, this was a dream come true. I have always wanted to be a plant mom! These allowed me to learn, grow, and fall in love with plants even more. My setup: All of my plants are in a soilless substrate and so far no pests, they are healthy and happy(coco chips and coir, pumice, perlite, charcoal, sphagnum moss, worm casting) I've rooted plants in a mix of vermiculite and coco coir All of my plants are under a grow light Watering is forgiving except if you don't let the substrate dry completely. I lost 2 because I didn't follow this rule I can easily water every 2 weeks with added fertilizer, the reservoir holds the perfect amount of water I'm able to fit a lot of pots, the cubbies hold 12 to 15 in each depending on how I style them The video is when I purchased my first set. Photographed is a rhaphidophora puberula, alocasia odora batik and pink bambino before and after, syng chiapense that started as a 2 leaf cutting, and phylo calkins gold that started with 4 leaves. Because of these pots I am able to create my dream vertical live plant wall. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

I’ve tried a few different self-watering planters and these have become my favorite mainly because of the clear bottoms. Being able to see the water reservoir makes it so much easier to know when it actually needs to be refilled instead of guessing. It’s especially helpful for plants that don’t like to dry out completely. The setup is simple. You place your plant in the inner pot with the wick, fill the bottom reservoir, and it pulls water up as needed. They work really well for smaller houseplants, cuttings, or plants you’re trying to keep consistently watered. The plastic feels sturdy enough and the design is clean, so they don’t look bad sitting on a windowsill or shelf. Having a 10 pack is also great if you have multiple plants you want to keep on the same watering system. My only real complaint is that I wish they made a larger version. The clear bottom is such a useful feature that I’d definitely buy bigger ones if they offered them. Overall these are a really practical option for plant lovers, especially if you like being able to visually track the water level.

I'm mostly happy with these self watering pots. They do what they say they will do. They do seem to be a bit top heavy, especially as the plant gets taller or bushier. The top pot 'locks' into the base reservoir. I have trouble unlocking once they have both been filled - sometimes I need to clean the bottom pot due to algae growth from sunlight. watering through the spout could be easier, I always spill. Usually I water from the top and let it drain through to the bottom then reabsorb what the plant wants,

Perfect self watering pots for my Nepenthes! I bought these because my two Nepenthes have outgrown the 3 inch version of these I had them in. One of the important things for these plants is that the moss be damp towards the top too. The strings that come with these pots are the perfect length and diameter. Others had mentioned that they are difficult to separate. I have used 3 so far and had no issues. Personally, I want them to be a bit snug because I often make holes in the top so that I can hang them. I don’t want the weight of the water to cause the bottom to come off and make a mess. I’ve used other types of self watering pots in the past, but these are my favorite.

Love these. It makes my watering sooooo much easier. I have blooming plants because of there pots.

Arrived much sooner than expected. Well packed and pots are quite sturdy though smaller than I thought. Haven’t used them yet but will do so soon as I need to repot my African violets.
