Does it make any difference if I use it with an Aqara hub or just connecting it to my Alexa zigbee hub?

The fp2 presence is a WiFi device and not a zigbee device

I believe the aqara fp2 has only just been released (2023) yet there are many older q&a’s here. are most of the answers for an old version, so wrong?

The older version is the fp1 but was only mainly available in China.

Says can be used in a bathroom yet who has a socket in the bathroom? this is not allowed in uk.. shame it has to be mains connected. any workarounds?

Socket outlets should not be permitted in bathrooms or shower rooms (apart from shaver-supply units). This is unless they can be fitted a minimum distance of three metres from the bath or shower. I would speak with an electrician, you could get one fitted provided you can find an acceptable zone for it to be placed in.

Can FP2 sensor be used outdoor?
