Not sure on this one
I collect (and use) fountain pens. I have a few Asvine models and always fine them extremely well made and easy to use. However, this one I have found a little difficult to get used to. It writes ok and is a nice looking pen. I find it hard to pinpoint what I find disappointing with the V126, but, it isn't my favorite Asvine. Possibly it's just the pen I received, but, there are better models from this manufacturer in my opinion. EDIT 19/10/25: I’ve been using this fountain pen for a while now and am finding I’m really starting to fully enjoy it now. I’ve restored my rating to 5 stars as this is actually a very good pen. I would now highly recommend it as an inexpensive but excellent pen.

A vacuum filler thats cheap with great performance.
A quality product, a clone done to a high standard. If you cannot afford to pay for a high quality Japanese pen with a gold nib, then this pen with a steel medium nib is a surprisingly good little pen. So far it has written smoothly out of the box, hasn't required any minor tuning, and with what I consider is just the right amount of feedback from the nib on paper. Buy and enjoy.. December update.. having written quite a bit now,and only having to floss the nib, the factory nib is well tuned, juicy wet and smooth. Feedback can be on the toothy side, but that is mainly down to the paper not the nib. And in comparison to my 2 gold nib pens. A pilot custom 92 medium, and an platinum 3776 broad, this asvine is really worth buying. I also have an asvine P20 also in medium which gives an identical writing experience.. just proves that a well setup and tuned steel nib, can give the user a pleasant experience without breaking the bank..

Pleasant surprise
This is a really good own from this brand. However not the best i have. The V200 is a much better solid feeling pen. From a writing perspective very little difference

Favorite pen by far
I really enjoy this pen. I started out with a Lamy safari and loved that, but I got this to try a Vacuum filler, and found it so fun. I was NOT expecting how damn smooth it wrote! So i ended up buying two more in different colours (and different size nibs). I honestly couldnt fault this pen. Cleanest fill of a pen i have so far, i normally get ink EVERYWHERE, but with the vacuum filler function i actually manage to keep the ink OFF my hands

Perfect present
I bought this as a present for my partner, he absolutely loves it and uses it daily. He hasn't had any issues with it, it writes smoothly and feels nice in the hand.

An excellent value pen that is very satisfying to write with.
I bought this after watching some YouTube videos about the high quality of Chinese pens in recent years. I can confirm that the quality of this pen is very good - it writes very nicely and has quite a generous reservoir. If you have a limited budget and wish to use a quality fountain pen I would highly recommend this product.

I’ve been looking for a better way to do the lettering on my cartoon work. Though dip pens produce reasonable lettering quality, they are a bit slow and result in varying letter thickness, as ink typically runs faster immediately after dipping the pen. I hoped that a fountain pen could be the solution to these difficulties, so that’s why I bought this particular pen. Sadly, you can’t run India ink through fountain pens, something I didn’t know prior to buying this pen; however, I discovered a reasonable substitute involving the use of Platinum Carbon Ink (black). Though this ink doesn’t stand up to erasing the way a good India ink would, if you are careful in your application of pencil that needs to be erased, the lettering ink work does not get significantly compromised. Finally, about this pen in particular, it puts down the ink in a wonderfully consistent manner. The ink flow is smooth and reliable. Its medium nib provides an excellent line weight, something that I especially need since my cartooning ends up getting photo-reduced prior to printing. What I truly appreciate about writing with this fountain pen is how it allows me to use my natural handwriting style, something that the nib pen simply can’t match because of the angle that you need to maintain in relationship to the paper surface. Several concluding remarks: it is nice to be able to fill the pen from a 60 mL bottle of ink rather than having to constantly purchase and dispose of cartridges, the pen body is solid and fits my hand well, and the weight of the pen is perfect for natural writing motions – not too heavy…not too light…just right (or should I say “just write”?
