Great coloring agent in cold process soap.
I infused some of this powder with olive oil to incorporate into my cold process soaps. I also added a little extra directly into the soap to help ensure that I got a more intense color and to add just a bit of exfoliation properties into the soap. At pour the color appeared a more chocolate color, but it cured into a pinkish red so it turned out great.

I used this madder root in my christmas soap and the red turned out perfectly.

Pink soap, first try!
About 1/4 cup of this, to 32 oz of light colored oil, I chose olive Shaking once per day for 4+ days, then letting it clump at bottom to not need to strain, using it as 1/3 of total oils for a batch, and it came out a beautiful smooth all natural pink. You can also add a tablespoon in 1 tablespoon of distilled water after trace, but it turns out a bit grainy.
