I've used berberine in the past with negligible results. I did not use it for steadying blood glucose levels, but I tried it for weight loss. It arrived in an envelope, 30 capsules. The directions suggest one to three capsules a day with food. I only take one capsule a day and it is most definitely decreasing my urge for afternoon snacking.
