G-Shock Casio Rangeman GW-9400YJ-1JF Black Yellow Tough Solar (Japan Domestic Genuine Products), Modern

This Casio G-SHOCK Rangeman is highly collectable and was the last variant produced in the Casio GW-9400 series line up. The GW-9400YJ-1JF was produced in 2023, some 10 years after the first GW-9400 Rangeman entered the market. This is my favourite GW9400 colourway. I love the two-tone band and yellow accents. Despite some comments I have seen, this watch IS genuine, don’t be alarmed by seeing this Rangeman is made in Thailand. The Casio G-SHOCK manufacturing plant in Thailand is known to produce the Rangeman series of watches. This is common knowledge to G-SHOCK collectors. I also have the latest Third generation Rangeman (GPR-H1000) which is also made in Thailand and was purchased direct from Casio. The Rangeman GW9400, despite being renowned as being one of the best feature packed G-SHOCKS of all time, is now sadly discontinued in the UK and no doubt will become discontinued in many other counties too. I ordered this G-SHOCK from Amazon UK, the seller was Amazon US. I ordered this G-SHOCK on the Wednesday evening and the watch arrived by the following Monday, which was much quicker than the estimated devilry time. Thank you Amazon UK and Amazon US.

Well, what can I say? it's a G-shock. I am not going to boast about it but this is a well known model and this particular colour way is a JDM release so I am glad to see Amazong sells it to UK customers. For that, I give 'Amazong' five stars.

Shipping was fine, and I'm very happy with the watch. It has a tough time syncing the time, but it might just be the location I'm in. It will work sometimes but not others. I downloaded an app for my phone that can play tones to sync it, so it's no biggie. Aside from that, the finish of the watch is great, and I love the features. Sure, it has a compass, barometer, etc., but let's not forget it's all packed onto a casio watch. There are more accurate tools available, but it's good for the price and convenience. The band is solid and surprisingly comfortable. The backlight works well and stays on for a few seconds after pressing the button. Overall I'm very happy and would purchase again.

Despite its monstrous size, it is really comfortable! I don’t need an english manual as I have tons of other Casios ( Gshock and non Gshock ) so I was able to adjust the settings without a manual or watching on youtube. I am already LOVING IT!

En mi para nada humilde opinión, es el G-shock perfecto, tenia años que no me gustaba uno y este me enamoró desde que lo vi y aun mas cuando lo puse en mi muñeca, los acentos amarillos son discretos y a la vez le dan la cantidad justa de llamatividad. Es perfecto que sea solar, es cómodo, a pesar de ser grande, no es incomodo de llevar. Se que me durará años, o eso espero por que se ha hecho mi reloj de diario favorito. (El instructivo viene en japones pero en internet se puede encontrar fácil en Español)

Creo que ya es un reloj que posiblemente no tenga mucha demanda, todos quieren un 🍎 watch... pero para mi, es un fastidio vivir pensando que la pila apenas dura 2 días... este se carga con el sol, tiene esos sensores que te da mucha información también... esta super el diseño... muy cómodo a pesar del tamaño, creo que es perfecto... me encantó... uno de los mejores Gshock... y es el JDM!!
