Nice little book for the kids to read. Very colourful

The animal sounds are so realistic, they never cease to amaze me. Its suitable for any child from 6 months to 4 years. A lot of learning can be made from the very graphic pictures. There is a little frog / spider hiding on each page. Its a great book for learning the names of wild animals and the jungle.

Good, baby enjoys, but not as good quality sounds of story as the Noisy Farm one.

Bought for our two year old at Christmas, he absolutely loves it and copies all the sounds. I like that they are more like real sounds rather than the cutey sounds you often get.

This was the first book I read my little boy, he loved it when I made the animal noise and then pressed the button. We started reading it from when he was only about 3 months old and he was captivated by it (although he did keep trying to eat the pages). I do have lots of other sound books but the stories are still too complicated for him and he gets impatient with them. This book is immediate and simple - a perfect first book for baby.

I approached this book hoping it would follow in the mould of the seminal classic "Noisy Farm". It is true that there are great noises ( the snake is very sinister) but this fails to provide the forward narrative drive of the aforementioned masterpiece. Why are the animals making these noises we cry? We never find out. Sadly the book also lacks a button that makes all the noises at once meaning the story lacks a satisfying crescendo. I'll probably still buy "Noisy Diggers" though.

Granddaughters aged 14 months and 4 both love this - the youngest quickly got the hang of pressing the buttons.
