Does exactly what I hoped
My existing remote finally conked out yesterday. I have a Firestick so all I needed was something to turn my ancient Toshiba LCD TV on and off plus turn volume up and down. This replacement arrived promptly today and all I had to do was put in some batteries and it worked straightaway. I honestly didn't expect it to be so simple 😆 but I'm delighted that it was. The hot keys for Prime, Netflix etc don't work but I don't need them to as I use my Firestick remote for all that. Great price too 👍🏻

Exactly the same as my old one, works well.
Lost our original controller and luckily found spare controllers available to buy on Amazon for our TV type. So after 3 frustrating days of no TV I ordered one, only more frustrated to find old controller the same day the new one arrived, tried and tested. So I have my own TV controller now permanently for my armchair. It worked out well.

excellent service from Amazon. I know very little when it comes to things like this, and I wrongly assumed this would work with all the Toshiba TVs, when I went to return, it Amazon sent me an instant refund and told me to keep the remoteThe remote is still able to turn the TV on and off and change the volume. However, the source button to switch between HDMI and component doesn’t work, but as i got all of my money back I can complainIt’s a lesson learned for me to read the description, or at least ask someone who’s more qualified!
