Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loved putting it together. Although she said it was harder to put together then Legos due to the small size. Instructions were a Little harder to follow alao. But she was able to figure it out. She loves the design of the waterfall and all the layers. All in all she is happy.

Think of this more like a puzzle and less like a model. It's going to take you a long time to build this - even as a seasoned veteran of these, it took well over 20 hours of delicate, fiddly work. It's 5000 pieces, some of which are only a couple millimeters big, and the instruction booklet is set up in such a way that you may need to count studs to get things to fit correctly. If that kind of detail work is something you enjoy (which is definitely the case for me), this is absolutely the kit to buy. If it frustrates you, then this would not be a good match. It did have all of the pieces needed, and it had a fair number of spares (including for some of the bigger plates, which surprised me).

These sets look gorgeous, but the intricacy and method are not worth the frustration. If the structure you're building doesn't constantly feel like its on the verge of catastrophic failure, you did something wrong. Its clear the builder went for aesthetics over anything else. Every step I build I pray the next piece will stabilize what I'm building, and every time it just becomes more and more fragile. What's worse is the instructions could easily be adjusted to compensate for the complexity, but it appears the instructions were made for a 3D printer, not a human. Each step is one layer above, and will include all the leaves, plants, and other pretty things regardless of what will happen the next step. Throughout the build, these piece come flying off when applying pressure to other parts of the model. I am currently on the tree at the top, near final steps that I thought would be a relaxing finish. Instead every damn branch breaks when trying to place a leaf on it. I suggest the creators either print better, sturdier pieces,use longer more stable pieces more frequently, and save all the leaves/flowers to be added at the very end of the build. I bought this as a challenge, and it is one, just not a fun one.

The pieces to the set as with the others are very small because they are micro blocks. As this is not been the first one that I put together, I have worn a few ways of how to put these together as part of my rehabilitation from my stroke. This is the first set from this vendor that I have received it did have a couple missing pieces, however, there is enough extra pieces that they have included with the other sets that I did have more than enough Pieces to facilitate the missing parts. Also, the tree is so large and there is some pieces that are just held together, which is one little knob on the little four knob square blocks that I had to actually break down and use superglue in my case gorilla glue to keep them from continually falling apart by the time I finish the tree no longer looked exactly as it was as branches had fallen so many times and I had just glued them together. But the final product looked really nice. This is a very large kit and it is very challenging. It took me several weeks to put together, but it is pretty. The lights at this company includes as their waterfalls are just amazing. As you can see from the video the ones at the base of the waterfall stay on while the other ones tend to flash and twinkle, which is nice. As mentioned in my other review, the music is not included even though they show notes on the box. The music is a download link that you connect to with your phone if you want to play music while you watch the lights blink. I did knock one point off of this review because the tree was so difficult and it kept falling apart without the assistance of gorilla glue. With a coupon they had available. This was a great value. It was a fun challenge and I enjoyed putting it together during the week that I did. I would recommend this for anybody looking for a challenge with micro blocks, keep in mind that these are extremely tiny compared to a Lego block. I’ve also attached a picture of the size of the micro block from a previous kit from the same manufacturer, but they are the same blocks to give an idea of how small and how tiny some of the single blocks can be.

There are so many thousands of pieces. It says it is for ages 6 and up. I guess 6 year olds cold hold the pieces better but I don’t think then could put it together.

Very fun to build and directions are easy to follow but bricks can be hard to click together and once the piece is fully built it’s not very stable

This was so fun! The pieces are definitely smaller so I recommend this for adults or mature children. There’s bricks are good quality and don’t snap if you accidentally put one where it doesn’t belong. It’s absolutely beautiful and the colors are perfect, it has a lot of beautiful small details that go into it everywhere and is definitely worth the price!

Between the tiny pieces, the wrong colors, and the amount of anguish. Ill admit, i didn't look at all of the product pictures in their description. What i was NOT expecting was the color variance to be so wide. The box pictures a fully purple island and a beautiful floating waterfall. The product is almost fully green. If i wanted green i would've ordered green. The pieces are tiny and hard to push together as well as pull apart. Pieces go flying when trying to push them on. And my hands are aching from holding such a small thing. Wont be buying products from this brand anymore

Fantastic set! 13 year old kid breezes through it and it looks awesome all complete.

My nephew got this he eventually put it together it looked great to do but you will need a lot of patience and time to get this one together. You must be up for the challenge to put this together lots of little pieces. The reward is a good looking completed project.
