Benzoin Tincture Oil 125ml

I've used to help keep pain patches on my back and ribs. I'd tried every tape and bandage I could without any success and didn't hold much hope for this. Really pleasently surprised, apply to patch and wait for alcohol to evaporated before applying patch to skin. Sticks really well but you only get one go at it, lasting for 8-10 hours. Worried that this might act as a barrier and stop patches from working but doesn't seem to be the case. Would definatley recommend

Wonderful for keeping trainer socks in place on your heels. Turn to mix well, a couple of drops in the palm of your hand, rub both palms together & dab both palms on your heels & lower heels. Allow a minute to dry, pop on your socks & trainers & that's it until you take them off.

The title of my review may sound misleading but.. I suffer from chronic blistering on my feet & have yet to fathom why. However if you gently syringe out the fluid & inject this you will definitely & quickly ease the discomfort of the blisters. That said it is extremely painful for a few minutes & the military have given the process a name..'The Hot Shot'. Try it grit your teeth and suffer no more 🥺.

This stuff is fantastic, also called 'friars balsam' this is better & cheaper. Used it in the military for 26 years to treat blisters. Doing the Pennine way next month, so stocking up, blisters are a certainty. This stuff will sort you right out, if you inject it into the blister. I mix this stuff with surgical spirit & iodine in a small plastic bottle. Get some cheap syringes & blunt needles, all available on here, inject into blister, scream for 10 minutes. Apply moleskin, duck tape & foot powder, dry your eyes & tab on....Miracle cure.

I've yet to open the bottle. But it wasn't quite what I expected. It's just a bare glass bottle sent out in a little jiffy bag. It's really tiny too, compared to the old bottles of Friars Balsam.

I bought this on a recommendation to use for sticking plasters, as I can never get them to last on my skin for more than a few minutes. It really works and leaves a tacky reside for the plaster to stick to. It doesn't cause me any irritation and I have sensitive skin. It also doesn't make the plaster difficult to remove when desired. I am so glad someone told me about this

For those of us who grew up using Friars Balsam in boiling water for steam inhalation, this product is a good alternative ! Happy to recommend.

This is a very dilute solution. Oder would suggest it has a lot of alcohol added. I will look for a better quality product.
