Bought this as l was sick of cleaning the old filter out every week. The PFC 3000 has exceeded my expectations, the size and noise level were irrespective, but are great. I turned the supplied pump onto its lowest setting which l found to be more than adequate and my pond is crystal clear, it’s now 6 weeks after install and l’ve yet to clean the filter. It was easy to install and route the water outlet to my waterfall, l have added a 2 way pipe extension to the outlet hose supplying the waterfall, this enables me to direct the water to the waterfall or divert it out externally whilst carrying out the cleaning process, without having to remove any existing infrastructure. In in all a fantastic purchase, only wish l had done it sooner.

installed filter Fitted pipes and pump very easily. Every thing in the kit I needed to get filter into use. Easy to clean with quick clean handle or doing the full clean by taking apart. All in all a good buy and it works very well, pond has cleared well.

I really like this unit, it replaced a 3 year old hozelock unit that failed. A really powerful pump and a solidly built filter unit, it cleared my pond in a couple of days. My only gripe is the waste outlet at 90 degrees, it can make the unit difficult to site. But overall a good product, recommend. Update July 2018 One Year On... I've just downgraded my rating from 4* to 3*. The UV bulb failed, nothing major there as they should be replaced every year anyway, so I went to replace the bulb. The rather poor quality bulb holder in the ballast unit had distorted and discoloured with the heat, I had to dismantle most of it and the bulb came out in kit form. I tried a new bulb but no joy, the entire ballast unit had failed. So I'll order a spare? £25 plus a bulb, that's if they had any stock which they don't, so I'm now without a UV unit.The pump and the filter itself I still like, a good unit that is still going strong. But I've just had to buy a new UV unit, and it wasn't an All Ponds Solutions one. Update Sep 2023 I've gone back up o 4* even though I no longer have these two units. The filter fell apart earlier in the year though use and old age, I would have bought it again if they had any stock and I've replaced it with a virtually identical unit. The pump has just failed with a shattered shaft bearing which fell apart and jammed it solid, but it has been running 6 years 365/24/7 and the only reason I didn't buy another is that I wanted a more powerful variable flow pump. These kits are entry level units towards the budget end of what you can buy, accept that they are not top quality but they work and I think that 6 years of constant use is pretty good going. You will probably need to replace and upgrade things as you go but I will recommend these for what they are.

I bought the All Pond Solutions PFC-3000 for my small pond with just 2 fish in it. The all in one filter, already installed, would never keep it clean. I bought this one based on the product reviews by other buyers. The installation went well. The flexible hose supplied was difficult to fit onto the hosetails but dipping the hose in some hot water made the job a lot easier. After just one day I could see a difference in the water clarity and on the second day I could see to the bottom of the pond. I've also noticed a reduction in the algae. On day 3 the water returning to the pond had slowed down slightly so I did a filter clean with the crank handle as per instructions. Nice and easy and the water flow was restored. Very happy with my purchase, the supplier answered a couple of questions I had promptly. The only criticism I have is the filter doesn't come with any bio medium though some can be added.

All packaging was complete and not damaged on receipt. I rarely write a review but in this instance the pump and filter have worked to clear a pond that was so green we were unable see our fish except when they came to the surface to feed. Setting up was easy, almost from the first day of operation we noticed a gradual improvement to the point where three weeks in and the bottom of the pond is visible and the water clear. In addition the walls of the pond were green and these are now back to the black liner. We have cleaned the filter weekly to start with, an operation that is both easy and efficient without the need to take anything apart; Just turn the pump off twist the blue tap to the outflow, turn pump back on and then turn the handle until the water runs clear. Turn pump off, turn blue tap back to original position and then pump back on. Job done without getting wet or disassembling anything. The only negative was the wire clips when attaching the pipework to the filter etc were a nightmare to get in position to the point I lost patience and went to B & Q for jubilee clips. A small moan but just frustrating . The pond is a former hot tub which has been lined with a black pond liner overall its about six feet square and a max depth of about three feet. The fibre glass makes a good secure base and means the pond is above ground and safe when the grand children visit. Overall I would recommend this pump and filter, it has worked beyond our expectations.

Je l'ai acquis en remplacement d'un autre filtre sous pression qui fonctionnait mal. A ce jour et en prenant soin de nettoyer les mousses au moins tous les deux jours, l'évacuation de la vase est efficace et mon bassin a une eau transparente, m^me si cela est dû en partie par le rajout d'eau pure après le nettoyage du filtre. Je ne peux évidemment pas me prononcer sur la fiabilité du système dans le temps, il faut pour cela bien plus de recul. Reste aussi que la notice est assez bien faite, je verrai comment l'ensemble se démonte et se remonte lors d'un "grand nettoyage.

Gros filtre, il a fallu monter soit même la prise 220v (dommage qu'elle ne soit pas déjà faite) La lampe UV était bien installée, j'ai quand même tout démonté pour voir .. Au niveau des raccords tuyaux, c'est du gros modèle, j'ai dû adapter les raccords pour l'étanchéité (elle doit être parfaite). Couplé avec une pompe SunSun CQP-4500P ECO 4500 l/h, l'eau du bassin fut clair comme du cristal en une nuit ! Très bon matériel, nécessite d'être un peu bricoleur, mais rien de dramatique non plus quand on a fait un bassin.

Tengo un estanque de 5 x 2 metros, estaba el agua turbia completamente y en una semana ha puesto el agua clara.
