Arrived broken :(
So I got this bat delivered on Saturday and left it in the box. Having read mixed reviews regarding the bats performance out of the wrapper I had trouble deciding whether or not to use it right away. But when it came time to leave for the game on Sunday excitement got the best of me and I unboxed it. Almost immediately I could hear what sounded like a small pebble sliding around inside the bat as I moved it. Oh no, I thought, it's broken. But I took it with me anyway determined to give it a shot.Upon arriving at the ball field I showed the bat to a couple of my teammates who confirmed that they also heard the pebble noise.Disappointed and slightly stubborn I decided to give the bat a shot anyway. I even asked a couple of the guys to try it out thinking, hoping, praying that maybe that sound meant nothing. But I was wrong. Most people who have played softball in the past know what a it's supposed to sound like when a ball comes off the bat. This sound wasn't what I heard. It sounded awful and flat. The bat was definitely dead.Pros: The bat is beautiful, I loved the bright green coloring. Its liteweight and easy to swing. The white grip gets dirty easily but it's very comfortable.Cons: The bat was dead out of the box. Not really much else to say there.I have to rate this one a 2, but if given the opportunity to trade it in for a new one I'll update my rating to reflect a working bat.

Wrong bat
I ordered this bat looking for a 30 inch/34 oz. It was a good price and shipped fast. When the bat arrived it was 34 inch/34 oz. this is not what I wanted. Simply looking for a shorter/ heavier bat. Not the standard 34 inch size bats. Not sure if all the listing that say 30 inch will actually be that size. Just be aware that it might come as a 34 inch not 30. This is the first time I have had an issue with anything I have bought on amazon which is why I still gave it 3 stars.Quality of the bat is outstanding. It is very solid and does not have plastics end cap like some other bats do. The grip has a nice tackiness to it so you can keep a firm hand on it. The graphics are raised. Over time they will chip off. Still a very good quality bat. I have owned two other worth bats and have all stood the test of time.*Update* 5/16/2013: Even though I received the wrong size bat I have nothing but good things to say about it. Has a great sweet spot and very well balanced. Doesn't seem like you are swinging a 34oz bat. It has become a very popular bat with my team as well.

Good bat for smaller women, but don't expect miracles!
I bought this bat (32-inch/24-ounce) for our co-ed slow pitch softball league team, as we were lacking a bat for the smaller women on the team. So far this bat has been a big hit, as it is far more manageable than the larger 34 inch bats. It has not magically allowed us to hit home runs, but I have noticed that more people seem to be connecting with the ball now that there is something available in our size. The quality is nothing to write home about - it is definitely a $30 bat - but it has perfectly suited our needs so far in a relatively relaxed league. As an added bonus, Worth provides one complementary repair of the bat if it is damaged during normal use.

Nice sound when making contact
Used it in a game yesterday and was quite pleased with it. I figured "you get what you pay for" and I mainly bought this one for my team to use figuring if they beat this one up, no big deal. I decided to leave my more expensive bats alone and give it a try as well and absolutely loved it! It has great balance and a nice sweet spot. It really put some speed on the balls I hit yesterday, allowing me to go 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs while keeping the ball on the ground and out of the outfielders gloves. Oh yeah, 3 other team members used this bat and they all ended up having a good game with it. You can't beat that and you get a cool paint job to boot, all for a great price. This is one awesome bat. Thanks Amazon and Worth for having this one.

Worth AMP bat is exactly what you're paying for.
It's not a bat that will crank out of the in field, but it is a good bat for someone who is trying to get on base. The grip is nice and the feel of it is smooth. It's a 28 oz bat that feels like a 26 because of it's balanced weight. If you want a cheap bat that will still hold up then I'd recommend this. if you want a bat that is going to be good for hitting triples then don't get this one.

Solid and Loud
I got this for a batting cage bat but ended up using it in games. Hammered it through 100s of pitches at the cage (including an impromptu 70mph baseball cage competition vs my son....feels good to hit a "real" pitch again) It is also loud. Not just that it is hi vis neon green but it really rings loud when you hit. Everybody knows when you get all of it. No "loose" bits inside. Just a loud "TINK"

Holy Green Gobs of Power!
This was the heaviest bat that i could find. When you connect with a ball, the first thing you think is, "Huh! Where did the ball go?" The second thing you think is, "Wow. Did I do that?" Right now everyone is crazy over bat speed. I get it. However, if you are a big guy like me, then this bat will make you feel like you have something in your hands that didn't come from your daughter's princess paraphernalia.I took this baby to the game, and the other big guys on my team not only hit with it, but hit well. When the game was over one even offered to "buy a share in that bat." WORTH it? How can I express how AMP-ed up I am!
