Columbia Unisex Bora Bora Booney

This hat has been essential daily kit for my son during the hot summer days, it has provided shade for his face, neck and ears preventing sun burn and keeps his head cool. Looks great, folds up very small, doesn’t hold wrinkles and washes well. Best hat he’s owned.

One of the most important things that i looked for was that it had Sun Protection SE + UPF 50 protection, with the current heatwaves and being a postman i wanted as much protection as possible and the Columbia covers all the bases. The rim is big and that’s what i wanted as it needs to shade my face and neck so I’m happy with the size and you can adjust it to fit your head. I’ve not hand washed it as yet so can’t comment on if the rim loses stiffness and shape but when i do I’ll update my review. So far it’s been fantastic and no sunburn which is what I’d of expected so I’d at this point definitely recommend the Columbia hat

The hat is great in the sun, just don’t wash it and get it wet otherwise the rim loses all its stiffness/goes completely floppy. I tried to use it in a waterpark on holiday and then the rim kept collapsing and covering my eyes so it was very annoying. If your staying dry though it’s brilliant, very breathable

I have no idea how I've only just found these Columbia hats but I am addicted. Simple adjustable design really does fit all sizes and I particularly like that I can adjust it for if my hair is up or down and therefore thicker or thinner. It folds into nothing and was light and comfortable, keeping my face shaded but my head cool and has a handy chin strap for windy conditions. Definitely the best I've had.

This is a very brief review as I’ve not had the hat long. What I can vouch for are the following: very light & comfortable, ( toggle allows you to customise the fit ), very lightweight so can easily be fold up and be stuffed in a pocket or rucksack, lastly, it does seem well made so I don’t think durability would be an issue whatever your outdoor pursuits. All told it’s great value & I’m very happy.

this is an amazing hat that stays on your head and provides excellent protection from sun at an amazing price. I've paid£13.99 for mine. works well in very hot and humid weather in southern India. it folds tiny, can even be carried in shorts pocket but I would recommend a small backpack or bum bag. I will be taking this with me for my other travels.

Quality products but universals size doesn't fit me , way to small

Lightweight boonie hat by Columbia for Outdoor activities. Good sun protection. Would imagine better in very hot conditiins than very wet conditions without additional waterproof spray. In any event there is a perforated strip which lets hot air/ condensation from the head escape but would allow rain in.

This is the second time purchasing this hat. It is perfect! I wear it in the water and on the sand. The wind is no concern because the hat is adjustable and doesnt move! It washes well and my head never sweats. I also love the colour!

Very light, easily washable, adjustable and works great in the Aussie summer sun. Must have when gardening or going out to watch the tennis in summer.

This hat is amazing. It keeps the sun off my dungeon dwelling balding head while taking the dogs out in the Florida heat. The mesh panels allow for airflow which helps to keep you cool. The ability to cinch the fit of the hat to not only under your chin, it also allows you to cinch around your head to a custom fit. I love this thing.

If the brim was marginally more rigid, this would be an easy 5-star review. It's a little floppy for my tastes, but I wear an Akubra a lot of the time. That said, it's my definite go-to for hiking, fishing, and walking the dogs. Worth every cent.
