Nonfiction Phonics Readers Set 3: R-Control, Variant Vowels & More (Single-Copy Set)

These stories are so much more engaging and interesting than most early readers. Highly recommend.

Phonics can be tricky and not always so enjoyable. But this book set keeps it fun and interesting, as well as refreshingly simple for my 7-year-old. He loves these books, which means I love these books!

I have not opened this box yet, but I anticipate that it will be just what my student needs.

I love this set. Like other books by Liza Charlesworth, it is well-designed and appealing to both child and adult eyes. The texts are perfect for both native English speaking children, as well as ESL learners. My students have a great sense of accomplishment when they finish one of these small books. I highly recommend this set for both classroom and at-home work.

I couldnt be happier with this excellent educational resource. Its thoughtfully designed, and visually appealing, and most importantly, my kids love it!

I have only worked through the first three books with my students. There is already an obvious error that shows this was not proofread before being sent to the printers (picture included).

Smaller books than I thought Difficult to work with student

This isn’t the type of book that I would normally look at for my kid; I would have passed it over as “too easy.” However, she brought home a book from one of the earlier sets (red, blue) and I was SOLD! As a parent with a child who is in speech therapy, these books are amazing! Each one focuses on a particular sound. They are easy to read and repetitive enough to help gets those sounds rolling off the tongue. We purchased this set in addition to the ones she was able to bring home from school (they didn’t have the green set).
